What is really ironic is that reviewers will go out of their way to criticise K:SF for being "generic" or "nothing new" but the real reason they hate it is the opposite - it is very unique, solid gameplay, but very different from the CoD / Halo / BF / Titanfall rubbish. And what counts as a 10/10 for reviewers is geenric COD like gameplay.
KZ has far more ore emphasis on skill and teamwork in the multiplayer, you can't just run around and spray-and-pra...
Just a couple of years back, the most minor of differences in favour of the XBOX 360 over the PS3 would be so important, the PS3 would be mocked because a lazily developed game lacked a few barely visible graphical effects.
Suddenly, the massive gap between the PS4 and XBOX does not matter, a 50% stronger graphics card and far superior RAm doesnot matter, 1080p vs 720p is not so important.
If price were all that matters, why isn't the wii U selling more?...
And meanwhile, from amazon.com, 90% of users have ranked it 3 out of 5, and the vast majority gave it 4 or 5 stars out if 5.
When your review is so out of sync with what gamers feel, you have to feel ashamed of yourself.
Anyone who truly believes that "The Wii U is the best Next-Generation controller" can't be considered seriously in any gaming discussion.
Which is why Killzone would always be a great series, even without the graphics, because of it's unique gameplay, the weight on the guns, the excellent multiplayer. Unless, of course, your idea of "gameplay" is to play like a COD clone.
That being said, KZ's multiplayer component is stronger than it's single player. Strangely enough, didn't see that being an issue with CoD or BF4 when it comes to reviews.

And yet, all those expert "reviewers" would tell you KZ is the worst gane out of those three!

graphics stopped being important since around 2008, when it was realised that the PS3 (and now the PS4) were going to batter it's rivals on that front.
Until that point we had about a 100 articles every week blasting the PS3 for being graphically inferior, how the X360's unified RAM was supposedly superior, the inferiority of the Cell, etc etc.
The funny thing is that his comment on the NFS game, that it was priced too high and released too ate, applies to the wii u itself. Nintendo brought out a next gen console 7 years after the competitors, when Sony and MS were about to release far more advanced products.
It seems the author expected developers to come out with expensive new franchises fr the wii u, when they have already moved onto PS4 and xbone. Do you see any new franchises or great new titles for the Ps3 or...

Again, nice distract. There is no proof that Lococycle was not the only game where MS pulled this trick, but it was the one where they got caught. You claim two games where they were able to run the games on ZBOX 1 kits – One a racing game, another QTE-based on-rails Kinect, both in development for years, both running on game engines that would be easiest to tweak and adapt to the new gen (Crytek for instance has a ready engine adapted to next-gen architecture and graphics).

The spin is strong on this one. The issue was not that XBOX one was playing on PCs. The issue was that they were playing on PCs that were far stronger than the XBOX One, thereby making XBOX One games appear to look and play better than they would on the actual console. After all, there was a huge fuss about KZ2 on the PS3 being pre-rendered rather than being on actual PS3 hardware, so why should MS get a free pass for doing effectively the same now?

What other car racing games need to fix to compete against GT: develop the most realistic simulation on consoles, perfectly recreate cars and tracks accompanied by the most gorgeous graphics possible. Of course, other than that, most other top racing games have advanced well beyond GT, which is an average racer when it comes to the really important things such as menus or tree shadows.
Well, as an ex-PC gamer, never going back to PC again. With the kind of graphic power the PS4 will have, the game will look good enough even on a big-screen TV so that any additional power will be superfluous, and the Playstation just works better, simpler and more reliable.
PC gaming is just painful, and it's all down to two reasons - the non-standard set-up, which means developers can never tap the power optimally, and you keep landing up with bugs and glitches related ...
Funny. When the ps3 launched we were told its games would look inferior because it is an inferior console.
Now we are being told that it is so good that we don't even ned next generation consoles.
Both knack and killzone were fantastic. Unless you believe the reviewrs who scored the broken mess that is battlefield 4 and the utterly in-inspired, generic COD above them.
If your taste in gaming goes beyond generic, spray and pray shooters, pick up both these exclusives. You might find yourself very pleasantly surprised and realise you are having much more fun than these "scores" indicate.
