Fred - I dont think anyone denies KZ2 had controller lag, weight, slow response, wahatever you want to call it. I think people disagree with you when you call it an "issue" because they liked the change in style. I personally didnt find it that difficult to adjust, used to play Resistance 2 and KZ2 alternately
And the consensus from those who have played it seems to be that GG have chosen a nice balance, less lag but still not Halo/CoD like floaty, run and gun

Revamped next-gen damage and physics: 0

Simply unbelieveable - I have never seen a game look half as good. Looks like PS3 batch of 2011 is going to stamp over the 2010 exclusives, just like 2010 did to 2009 and 2009 to 2008. They must have an extra set of processors and RAM hidden away inside the PS3 which only Guerrila, Santa Monica and Polyphony are allowed to use.
UC2 probably has the best developed set of sidekicks in any game I have played.

Wasnt the ending a weak rip-off of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, which is probably one of the best game endings ever, especially if you have played FF7

I would claim PS1 was the best for slection of games, N64 for the best franchise reboots (zelda, mario) and Goldeneye, the first succesful concole shooter, and Dreamcast for the best and most innovative maunch line-up.
Regarding spawn camping – thats one of the biggest complaints about maps such as Radec, yet easily avoidable if you use your brains, there are at least two alternative exits you can use to get the jump on your opponents and yet everyone insists on rushing through the same narrow door where you get mown down again and again.
I have nevefr played Fable, but most of the flaws Destructoid points out seem to be pretty serious ones - poor AI, gameplay seems dumbed down and lacking in depth, poor item equipping/menu system...any other game with these flaws would struggle to score more than 6 or 7.
Most under-rated and hard-working developers in the industry imho. Insomniac put bigger games to shame - grpahics as good as those in CoD / MoH, if not quite as good as the best PS3 exclusives (that should change when thye go from 60fps to 30), the gameplay is always solid, hardly any glitches or bugs, always pack a lot of gameplay(no 4-hour campaigns), and contrary to the bad-mouthing by the critics, they always manage to find time for something new in their games, whether its the 8-player c...

You are wrong. I have played Gears, Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2 on the xbox, they dont even come close in terms of graphics, animation, AA and lighting to GoW3, Uncharted 2, KZ2, even the by now dated MGS4. Even Uncharted 1 is better. Just having a PSN id does not make you unbiased.
Looks like the reverse - he has probably won a lot because he has figured out the level of "strategy" needed to win in Halo.
Well, thats one less thing to nitpick upon. Had heard that GT5 car sounds were subpar (not something I know much about) but looks like would be fixed in the final version
I always love to see the games Edge considers superior to Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and Ratchet. In this case, Shaun White Skateboarding and Costume Quest.
And of course Deadly Premonition as well. From some other review comments: "bad production values and lackluster controls", "serious scenes often containing a light-hearted jazz track", "many low-resolution textures" but still a better game than KZ2. Maybe if they used a rock band instead of jazz, would...
