What is most amusing is that a lot of xbox owners will make a great deal of the slight superiority of the xbox version in most multiplat games, while glossing over the massive chasm that exists between PS3 exclusives such as UC2, KZ2 or GoW3 and the xbox exclusives which look like last gen games in comparison.
And on topic, the PS3 version is a perfect excuse to do my long-postponed second playthough of ME2, using the female version of Shepard this time –apparently the voice ...

Yeah, its virtually the same game as GT4
So GT5 is as good a game as KZ2 according to Edge. Thats the only part of their scoring I can agree with.

All those people who didnt buy GT5 are going to totally ignore this game as well. Didnt you know, PS3 owners don’t buy games, PS3 has no games anyway, the Cell sucks....
Seems like this game will have a big improvement in graphics and immersion. The storytelling and dialogue may be a bit off still, and will be nitpicked beyond belief by reviewers who gave 10s to CoDs, Halos and Gears, but I can tolerate that, the big plus for me is coop, great addition.

I think Sony is overdoing it a bit. KZ2, Socom 4, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, Last Guardian, Motorstorm 3, FF V 13, LBP 2, possibly Starhawk, possibly Agent, WKC 2 very likely

What we do know is that KZ3 will show a massive improvement over KZ2, while Gears 3 will be exactly the same as Gears 2 with some minor tweaks. That has been the way since 2007 – each year’s PS3 exclusives look much better than the year before while the “easy to develop for” 360 has stagnated.
Wasn’t Halo 3 considered to have cost 35 million in some previous article? Its says 55 million here before marketing costs.
GT5 was probably closer to 60m than 80m
If FF12 cost 50-60m, surely FF13 cost even more to make?

KZ2 is not just about the graphics or even the gameplay, which is rock-solid. There are a couple of aspects about KZ2 which are usually glossed over:
Firstly, the AI. You have to play it to believe it.

GPU bottlenecking, true or not, is irrelevant when the cell can take off so much of the load.
The RAM is not a bottleneck – there is a reason why the PS3 has immensely high bus speeds between the cell and GPU and why it uses the astonishingly fast XDR RAM – 5 times as fast as the one used on the 360
Just as well that most of the heavy lifting, including the AA, was provided by the Cell.

Amazingly, when the PS3 ws launched, the media was full of stories on how the cell was apparently not useful for gaming. Mostly planted by the xbox club, which is ironic because it later emerged that the 360 used a cheap rip-off of the cell based on stol...

Sony had a better line-up of exclusives in the first year after launch than the XBOX in 2011 (RFOM, Ratchet, HS, Uncharted, Motorstorm, F1), despite the difficulties of coding on a new platform.
