Sonarus don't be silly. That video was clearly a multiplayer map gameplay and is hardly indicative of the game. I mean the points that blip on the screen after a kill were a dead giveaway.

I actually agree with him. While this is certainly the most "detailed" GTA to date in terms of graphics. I feel like the city is so empty and staid comparatively. There are less game extras to do and less motivation to explore the city b/c of 'stricter' mechanics. It would be interesting if you could interact with the denizens besides beating/klling them. In Andreas, there was a gang territory mechanic that was kind of fun.

outgrown the US market as of the last year or so (look at the euro to dollar exchange rate), and the Asian market (especially China) is looking to be crushing the US within the next 3-4 years, well within this Gen's console race, especially considering the US recession.

The explosions show more depth and volume on the PS3 where as the 360 looks like smoke that springs out rather than pluming out. You are right about the resolution being lower on the PS3 and as a result giving it a slighter fuzz, but I disagree that the xbox360 is automatically better as a result. If you look at the scene were Vlad is yelling and Niko to stop staring at him, Niko's face and shadows are definately better than the 360s. The rendition of the PS3 collar shadow is static, while the 360s flickers.
Now that's a naive statement if I've ever heard one. The dollar isn't going to rebound just because a new president comes in. The late and great FDR took 3 of his presidential terms just to implement his Great Deals and WWII was the only reason that the US came out of its slump. This recession admittedly is no where near as severe. However, economic analysts are likening it to the Tokyo recession which lasted a decade before recovery. The US in my opin in more trouble than that.

Microsoft is starting to realize that they need to start making a semblance of a market impact in East Asia as this is the fastest and soon to be largest market region in the world. If I were them, I would start seeding free developer kits or hosting game development shows ... Too bad Sony is doing this already.
Yeah you do have greater draw distance... only your following a pre-determined pathway (rail) so everything in the distance is really just tweaked for that set path haha. Ie ... not really greater...
