Guys, let me put into perspective why thinking MS is in the gaming industry in the long haul is a bad idea. No i am not implying that MS will drop out or any accusations, but simply looking at facts.
The fact is MS is a software company and not a hardware one. They can pull out of the xbox market to stop losses at anytime they want with little repercussion. Sony on the other hand, is a hardware company making Tvs, computers, camcorders, etc. If sony tried to pull out, they wou...
That's not what they are saying. What they are saying is MS is making some bad financial choices banking their investments into DLC content exclusivity that will not drive consumer adoption. Funds are limited even for MS, and they are making bad financial decisions.
Very good. I also looked up Sony's Q1 financials. They generated $5.9 million in net profit. Proves they've been in the black for the last year already.
Proving you need to take some photoshop classes if you believe what you just said.
Ms has infinite money? lol. What are you living in? A mmorpg with cheat codes? MS does not have infinite money. Right now banks with 2 - 5x the amount of money MS has are closing right now b/c of this financial crisis. Do you even read the news? MS is not financially invunerable.
After seeing that hot Keeley Hazell football (soccer) line up, I say KH2009 FTW!~ Screw PES2009 or FIFA, I'm playing KH!~
All who agree click here and get ur high res pic XD

Here's my angle on it. Some guys like pretending they're a femme fatale, with a nice curvy body and get to act out their girl fantatsies and do girly things like flirt with guy players (online) for example.
I tend to think guys that like playing girl characters aren't just in there b/c they prefer to see a girl's behind. Maybe I'm narrow viewed, but I think guys that love playing female characters are kind of transgendered...and are curious about behaving/living like a female. T...
Don't kid yourself, the xbox division may have broke even mid year, but they're back to bleeding money again. exclusive buyouts, Lowered live subscription prices, new jasper manufacturing (board redesign, new components, manufacture), and the holiday pricecut. MS is back in the red fray to try to pick up some new users. Plus I believe they've already spent well over the billion that they've allocated for RROD.
Also the source you produced on Joystick says that they made $89 mi...
Makes you wonder how MS is going to make any money this console season selling in the red again. Price drop, a jasper redesign, lowering live price, all going to cost even more money and less profit.
@previous posters.. I agree. First party titles are going to win the war.
Also as EA aptly noted, PS3 owners are profitable b/c the users generally can afford more. More likely to have a HD TV, more likely to have a surround sound system, more likely to own bluray discs. ...
Face it, the pics with the boss is a rail shooter part of the game (nothing wrong with that... but it is what it is). If you're marcus sitting on the back shooting, and the AI is driving along a predetermined path. It's a rail shooter.
You can tell by the pic and the nature of game designs. When you're sitting on a vehicle, you're going to be on a rail, unless you're in halo3 of course and then your ai runs into bush or the wall and gets stuck.
Don't be silly. At 3000 x 1688 resolution, its far beyond 1080p and would trouble even high end pc rigs during gameplay, let alone the 360.
wonder which mechanical adding machine he virtualized. Babbage's? Burroughs? Schickard? Pascal? Anyone?
The gameplay videos don't do this game any justice at all. I guess the dynamic buffer or high resolution is causing these videos to stutter and pixellate. Nor are they as vibrant as the real deal.
I have the game. There isn't any aliasing in-game. It's 1080p. That is what's amazing about it. This is a definite exception to the rule. 100% not bullshot. You can see shots in the forum where no filters are applied.
Addendum: Actually there are minor aliasing now that i've time to look. You can see it the neon text signage. But that goes to show how great this game is.
Guys you don't need formulate or theorize an answer. 2K is already admitting that they have some quality control issues with the demo:
Hey guys,
First, I want to thank you for the acute attention to detail and the Spartan level of expectation our most devoted BioShock fans hold us to, and how excited you are and attentive to the BioShock PS3 demo. When we saw a post asking about issues found in the demo, we jumped on it immediately. And you know what, you're right. ...
@1 You can lie to yourself all you want, but you get what you pay for in the end.
Now if the 2K community manager says this:

You're wrong. According to 2k:

Looks like 1.20 beat me to the punch.
Well to all those witless disagrees on my 1.11 post, here's my proof. Direct posting
Check it out yourself. It's a quality issue not a ps3 limitation.

stupid fanbois.
This game is definitely all about skillz. On the otherhand it's also a great showcase title. Definitely worth it.
Why don't they push their first party title viva pinata: trouble in paradise?
Guess sales on that title aren't as strong.
