4.2 million in nearly three years versus 3.3 million in four years
That'd mean Sony moved 1.4 million PS4s in Japan each year versus Nintendo with 825k Wii U moved in Japan each year. That equals 575k more PS4s moved each year in one region.
@Goldby: That's even more reason for it NOT to be falling behind its predecessor. Otherwise that suggests, logically, at least one part of the Switch is behind the Wii U.
If the enhancements are causing the issue it shows they over did the effects added to the Switch version. If Wii U is legitimately running shrines better than Switch it shows not much care was put into the Switch version unless something in the Switch is causing the difference justifying the insinuatio...
It's not even a week after launch...
What kind of harm can sending a mixed, unclear, and frankly untrue message be less than a week after you launch a product? Doesn't sound like a Wii U situation happening faster or anything. /s
Switch should not be performing functions slower than the product it is set to release. If it is what was the point of releasing Switch? To be inferior to even its last gen counterpart?
Because Wii U is being killed off, not 3DS
Further Nintendo has stated Switch is supposed to be a home console first and handheld second.
Duh. Nintendo claimed to be sold out of preorders therefore why would stock be better after launch? Not like if preorders being "sold out" would indicate what kind of numbers actually have to be produced. /s
Nintendo admits to wanting to ship two million by the end of the year. They allocated high preorder reservations then cut the number to retailers instead of increasing it. All of this shows even further what people already know: Nintendo is once again trying t...
@IvanSF: Convenient to leave out the fact timed exclusives exist. Like how PlayStation gets timed exclusive Call of Duty DLC which can be bought in stores then later a Xbox release happens.
Street Fighter V is also a timed PlayStation exclusive.
Modern Warfare Remastered was also a timed exclusive.
There are also Crash games that exist on other platforms and is being done by a third party developer.
I actually can't wait for Scorpio. After upgrading my Xbox One to a One S the difference is already there.
Going from One S to Scorpio should be even better.
Must take Nintendo a bit to flip a switch. The system is launching way incomplete.

The Skylanders Imaginators Crash character and figure are also now separate from the PlayStation product. It was taunted as PlayStation Exclusive during the reveal of the trilogy.
Samsung claims it's not hardware related.
Go figure. They've also given the go ahead for S8 along with a new note. In other words when you can't find a known issue or even explain it don't. Just release a new one.
It's also ironic that Switch will have specs similar to the aforementioned products.
Yeah, god forbid you list the pros such as:
Only current console to offer backwards compatibility that is still seeing a rise in offered titles
Only console offering 4K Blu-Ray support
Only company to let you keep content after your online subscription expires
Longest running proven console network
And those games? Sorry to burst that bubble but unlike Nintendo Xbox consoles get most of the content ...
Switch specs put it in line with devices such as the LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7

Smartphones also offer cheaper alternatives
The more people say people have an alternate device for that the more one has to evaluate the usefulness of Switch or why one would bring it along.
The more alternatives take place of Switch because of missing features the more Switch becomes an alternative on less occasions
Even the Wii and 3DS offer a web browser
@ricosuave: Are you seriously comparing sold numbers of games over a year old to a title that came out three months ago? That's super desperate. Rather you like it or not numerous outlets along with Activision have confirmed Infinite Warfare to be the top selling title of the year.
Global totals for Black Ops III show around 26 million. If Infinite Warfare has moved even half that's still around 13 million not to mention Infinite Warfare is still on weekly top selli...
Nice. Not only now backwards compatible but also better patched as well.
The updated content puts Switch at 308k, not the original reported 330k
