If GTA IV sold that many copies since going backwards compatible it places GTA IV back on the global weekly top sales chart. Not to mention effectively moved over 1/3rd of what Grand Theft Auto V moved in the same period.

Call of Duty World at War and Black Ops both increased in price after going backwards compatible. Not to mention Gamestop namely does it all the time.
Even supply and demand plays a role. The game is nearly nine years old. Most individuals who wanted a copy already purchased decreasing shipped numbers along with inventory. Now the title is playable on Xbox One effectively adding a new demand that wasn't there before.

MS has never stated Scorpio will not have exclusives. Aaron Greenberg has while being known for being completely off base on most occasions.
Other representatives have never said yes or no with Phil Spencer suggesting it'll be up to developers.

Think about this. Scorpio will support VR while nothing is being said about Xbox One or One S. This would suggest VR will be exclusive to Scorpio. If this is the case Scorpio would already get VR exclusives.
Even if it's only an upgrade why does it not deserve its own upgraded exclusives to show off those upgrades?
What 180? It has been stated for some time now that Scorpio could get its own content. Not to mention existing Xbox One software plus Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles will work on the system to boot giving it titles to start on top of future content.
I am not speaking bankruptcy. The point is posting decreases YOY for seven of nine listed divisions of Sony is not "seriously impressive". At least one division is in the red.
The PlayStation comments involve the fact that 1) They're speaking shipped numbers which numerous people here have shown a dislike of and 2) I believe hardware totals bulk in other devices outside of PS4/Pro as the financial report does not state what hardware is included.
It is. That's why Nintendo is stating that stock will be limited and preorders sold out.
This same story goes to show that two outlets "oversold stock" and preorders for the Switch are definitely inflated plus inaccurate.
It's hard enough for one outlet to do this by mistake as they do have numbers available to them concerning what kind of allocation is available.

They should as Sonys divisions allocate funding to Sony as a whole. Meaning the profits they're making from gaming are being spent by TV, mobile, and others.
Their own financials show that seven of the nine listed divisions are losing revenue. More than they're gaining from gaming also as Sony as a whole is down 7% from last year.
It's even highlighted they receive funding because their Pictures division in particular does terribly. So much so...
...Then why are people not blasting the twenty year old mechanics or attempting to get Capcom to actually upgrade the title?
Is it really ok to write off half assed work because it's convenient and increases a systems title count?
