That is likely cheaper and will offer more features than these Classic versions as that's more or less what they are. The classic versions. It's on Vita too.
Doubtful. GTA San Andreas came to PS4 in the same fashion but didn't cross with any other console purchases like the PS2 Classics version or PS3 version.
Most PS2 Classic versions available on PS4 also don't offer a free version on PS4 with a purchase on PS3 nor a discount.
@danoman64: You mean similar to the deal Sony has with Activision to receive Call of Duty DLC one month early while Sony hands them money?
Because Sony offered cash money to Activision for exclusivity and does so for timed content with the same company?
No, again, Sony at the end of the day does not get a say. It is not their property and never has been.
Plus Crash Bandicoot has been seen on other platforms. Numerous times.
...
While Sony spends advertising time and money on things like Rain?
How about No Man's Sky?
Makes sense though right? For smaller properties and return compared to what they could be advertising?
If you're "hella intregued" watching gameplay why wouldn't you be to actually play it yourself?
@SilverDemon: Not quite. Sony was merely the publisher. The Crash Bandicoot property was created by Universal Studios in partnership with Naughty Dog. The property was later acquired by Vivendi who merged with Activision then Activision took control of the company along with the rights to Crash Bandicoot along with Spyro the Dragon.
Sony has NEVER owned even a portion of Crash Bandicoot. They agreed to publish the title but Naughty Dog was not acquired until 2001, five year...
Sony isn't doing anything to Crash. They're playing no part in the project. Vicarious Visions is with Activision publishing.
Even if Sony decided to allow EA Access on PS4 the value proposition would be different as EA Access grants Xbox 360 games on top of Xbox One games. In its current position PS4 would instantly lose last gen titles offered through EA Access as it doesn't offer backwards compatibility. It also varies from PS Now by not being locked to streaming but to downloading content.
Nope, trolls running multiple accounts. You could literally watch the downvotes occur shortly after the April PS+ post.
The sadly hilarious thing is individuals seem to think the downvotes matter while they abuse the exact same system, degrading it themselves.
I'd gather one of them has posted a few times attempting to troll in the same timeframe. 😉
The proof is in the pudding. I posted a tad bit farther down all the PS+ off...
@Monster_Tard: What I'm saying is using factors to your advantage, knowing they exist then blatantly leaving that part of the story out to make a device seem more attractive is sad. Further what I'm saying is statistically this story was written to be skewed into a pretty picture it's not.
Wii U had better sales than Switch in the same period. Wii U is a Nintendo product with less portability than Switch. Japan is ruled by mobile devices. What is not mentioned i...
Then there's a handheld device from Sony available in Japan not listed in this article that's moved over 5 million units in Japan while Wii U only managed a little over 3.2 million in the region. PS4 managed more coming out over a year after Wii U.
We also know that Switch isn't the top selling handheld or console worldwide. It was being said that Switch was Nintendos fastest selling console. Now it isn't. It's really not doing anything fantastically or ...
@Abriael: I'm sure it is with Wii U going down the toilet but 3DS still moving.
Doesn't really matter what they call it. The Switch was built to be more portable than Wii U, a selling point so far. Japan prefers portable. Logically Switch in Japan should be moving more than Wii U due to being more portable. There's no way to dodge it when a less portable product from the same company moved more in a region wanting portability.
Further PS4 is a...
I also don't know why PS4 sales should matter with it being a home console with the Switch labeled a handheld. The handheld market and the console market are two very different things, particularly in Japan.
It should then be slightly telling that a Nintendo console which is considered a massive flop and less portable managed to move more in a region looking for portability.
Further there were stories of shortages of Wii U.

Activision would be giving the go ahead to content going backwards compatible. So far they've chose to offer more titles backward compatible and even include DLC.
Plus they really don't need to pull moves with Call of Duty. The franchise moves more than any other yearly franchise, even topping the numbers of those that are exclusive or not annual.
They wouldn't be making moves trying to sell something at retail when the same product and featur...
World at War is already available on Xbox One via backward compatibility and includes DLC
Call of Duty Classic

Uh, then based on your own answer it already was a true WW2 game, a subject it actually explored in multiple titles including the very first. While DICE was busy with Battlefield 1942 and altered the Battlefield franchise to be more in line with Call of Duty.
Also why DICE and EA make comments all the time about Call of Duty and wanting its numbers but never obtaining them.
One has chose to evolve naturally and on its own terms. The other has chosen to fo...
Drawn To Death, PS4
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, PS4 - 2016
Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom, PS3 - EU 2013; NA 2014
Alien Rage – Extended Edition, PS3 - 2013
10 Second Ninja, PS Vita (crossbuy with PS4) - 2016
Curses ‘n Chaos, PS Vita (crossbuy on PS4) - 2015
Drawn to Death is the only new title. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime came to Games with Gold in February and came out a year earlier on Xbox One.
Battlefield 1942 didn't really tell the story of WW2.
https://www.battlefield.com...
Further even the very first Call of Duty game explored a more historical WW2 and came out in 03. So it'd seem after Battlefield took style points from Call of Duty in the form of mechanics and storytelling.

Just saying. Sony wanted to champion it at one point. They themselves pointed out that it's lame to pay for a one to one product numerous times.
