To be fair it probably also has to do with the resources they currently have into the PS3. With Beyond being this far into development it's a safe bet they've already paid a pretty penny. Adding PS4 to the mix would add to that cost if they really wanted to optimize for it.
I dunno but your flaw is that BO2 isn't a second game nor even a third. It's actually the 9th title in the series. Plus people didn't call the first game "innovative". Nobody started that till 4. Meaning innovation happened to a larger extent between titles 1 and 4 with mediocre innovation happening post 4.
Was God of War 2 not better than the first? Is that not innovation?
Did Grand Theft Auto not do anything innovative after the first title? <...
So you're saying sequels can't bring innovation?
Can't innovate an innovation or what? Can't raise the stakes just because its not a whole new title?
Talk to the Vita. As far as I'm aware the Vita OS hasn't been hacked. PSP exploits work due to PSP emulation being the same as running it via PSP but these exploits are limited in terms of system access.
PS4 will probably be similar.
Why would they increase when you can now fit the max amount of items on one page?
Ten total folders that can hold ten items reaching the hundred item limit.
If its the same as the 360 deal...
2 year contract for Xbox Live prorated at $14.99 a month. That's the equivalent of $360 on top of the initial cost.
360: $99 initial + $360 Xbox Live contract = $449
Next Xbox: $300 + $360 Xbox Live contract = $660
All models of PS3 still have some form of backward compatibility. 20, 60, and some 80GB models all play both PSOne and PS2 games from a physical disc. All other models at least play physical PSOne games.
But then again, none of those other models ever included PS2 BC. Some 80GB models even launched without it. It was never removed via firmware.
Who really cares and why should this be such a big deal?
You have PS3 games you want to play? Odds are you already have a PS3 then. So uh, why not keep it to play your PS3 games? If you don't own a PS3 what are you worried about PS3 games for?
I'll be getting PS4 for PS4 games, the social aspects, and the cross controller options.
Waiting for phase 3. Hopefully I get a PS3 beta invite.
Deal extends to the Collectors Edition too. Awesome deal all around.

I like the idea of Co-Op in Dead Space personally but the one place they missed out in my opinion is split screen. I have Dead Space 3 and was excited to be able to play something different with my cousin but once I found out split screen wasn't included I immediately put it up in favor of games that do.
Co-Op could have a fantastic fit with Dead Space if its done right in my opinion.
I think the whole problem is the fact they have the tablet taking resources from the system rather than having the resources built into the tablet. Sure the cost price wise this way is cheaper but the resource cost on the already not-so-powerful system creates problems for game Devs. I think when PS4 & 720 come out it'll be more apparent.
Someone's gonna take this as a dig but it's not. The 720 is rumored to run 4 or 8 gigs of ram. The PS4 is confirmed at 8. T...
I'm the same. Fighters aren't exactly my cup of tea but I do at least try what looks interesting. I got All-Stars for Christmas from my father-in-law. I incidentally liked the beta but wasn't fully convinced. The PS3-PSVita combo got me to at least add it to my Christmas list. Redeemed my Vita copy when I got back home and played enough to platinum the Vita version and started on PS3. Still need to finish my plat on PS3 but was actually pretty impressed with All-Stars all around e...
I'm just going to sum it up like this: Why would Microsoft ditch the "Pay to play online" route when it's clear to many that those fees are too beneficial to Microsoft? They know they can get people to pay to play online and they're making a pretty penny doing it.
As long as people keep paying for Live just to access online content, Microsoft will continue charging for it.
@falcon: Are you stupid? Sony stood up on stage and listed off the specs. Why would they bother telling Devs about dev kits many studios already have? If that's not enough, from the official PS4 page on us.playstation.com:

Not to mention that time and time again the comment has came...
No, it will not. Confirmed on the Playstation Blog some time ago.
No Move, No Kinect, No 3D, no real perks. Just a HD version of a handheld game.
And the Xbox version clearly looks better. You can actually distinguish the design of the door and walls much better than 3DS which is no shock. Why you'd side by side a console game with a handheld version is beyond me though.
Yup, guess they didn't yell at Sony enough for Activision to care about including their IPs like Spyro and Crash in All-Stars
I wish people would get off that crap. Sony has zero control over third party characters. Guess they should ditch support of the game since you can't have that one character not owned by Sony. /s
Already being worked on. A few of the posts about the new store on the Playstation Blog in the comments section ask about those same things. Remote Downloading plus an actual app and more browser support is in the works.
I don't care much about backwards compatibility with PS4. If it happens, cool. If not I won't be bothered much. That's what my PS3 is for. I'll use my PS4 for PS4 games.
Cool story. Is it the 30th though? No? It's the 16th? Oh, sorry. Didn't know two weeks wouldn't be enough to play a demo.
