I have a hard time feeling as if a console is cool if grandmothers and now the Queen plays it. Ewww.

I've never been so interested in a CES before, admittedly. This mess is more exciting than E3 so far!

Oh smack...hahahhaha. I'm going to have to strongly agree.

Technology is indeed moving too fast but eventually it will slow down. It has too. Science can't keep it up forever. Consumers can't keep buying it forever.

As for me, I'm sticking with my 42 inch Bravia for a long time...I don't care if OLED becomes the new standard next year.

Toshiba seems to be a bit confused after the smack to the head they received a few days ago. They're still reeling, obviously.

That won't sell very much at all. Nobody is going to want to spend extra money (over 3 grand!) so that they can have the features of a dead format.

I too don't understand why people are saying that the 360 would just add a Blu-Ray drive add-on. That would be the most clear representation of confusion to consumers.

I think the more likely scenario is that Microsoft will preach about how much they don't need Blu-Ray to make great games, and how you can download HD movies through their marketplace.

Both of these likely statements have some serious issues in them, but Microsoft has the money to say it and make i...

There are few who love Sony more than I do and still I think I've seen enough of this.

What I want to hear next is:

Universal and Paramount go BLU!!!!!

It's in the industry section, where it belongs.

The "advantage" spoken of in this article is a very murky and far-fetched one. We call it "pulling at straws". Basically this is the "advantage":

Maybe HD DVD can stick around long enough for dual players to give it life again.

C'mon. What a waste of the pixels that make up that webpage. Warner waited until a side clearly won the war and simply joined up with that side. The Warner move didn't win the war itself: it simply confirmed i...

Don't have the extra money for it yet but I really want that one.

I learned most of what I learned about cars from Gran Turismo, the original. It taught me so much. So this comes as no surprise.

Anybody notice how Kazanori Yamauchi is appearing EVERYWHERE now?

Yeah, my wife is a Mac person, and I'm a blu-ray fan. Looks like I'm going Mac now.

But if Surfer girl gets this right, I'll start believing her.

As it is, she's still just an attention-seeking-you-know-wha t.

I loved the Transformers movie and was crushed when Paramount switched. I was really looking forward to it on Blu. As Bay said...it's coming soon!

Michael Bay's not Christ but he speaks the gospel!

Give this man credit for keeping it real.

Wow...and did you read that Warner will delay their HD DVD titles weeks after the Blu ones come out for the next 5 months? Awesome.

HD DVD supporters are having a hard time understanding that Warner just chose the most common sense direction. Nobody needs to be bribed to do exactly what they want to do.
