Let's just pretend that this rumor is correct. The other part of the rumor is that it wouldn't come out until Fall of '08. Isn't that a bit late to compete with what Sony is going to bring out in '08?

Nope. Nintendo not ONLY messed up with cartridges, but they also have a history of not being nice to third-parties. Both of these factors contributed to Squaresoft dissing Nintendo until recent years.----12

Remember that Nintendo has a history of purposely competing against and destroying their own third-party support, back when they didn't know how much this would hurt them. Squaresoft didn't dis Nintendo for nothing.
But I don't understand how people would expect a game like this to sell on the Wii, when most people who have bought the Wii haven't bought it for a game like this. Why do we expect a system successfully aimed towards casuals to then sell many games that are for rea...
It's not all about money, bub. It's about respect, loyalty, and wanting your most prized franchise operating on the most powerful system. These developers want to leave a legacy as well. Better to be known and remembered for making a work of art that can only be made on the PS3 than make a watered-down version that is multi-console. Money isn't everything.----12

Yeah, in the end, I would have to give the final props to Kratos. He's the GOD of War, meaning that at his best, there is no weapon that he is not a master of, no technique that he has not mastered, no form of violence in which he is not supreme.
It would be a really good fight, but Kratos would win if both sides are fighting with all of their powers and at their best.
