After playing the Bayonetta demo, it turns out that it's exactly what I thought it would be...a fun time-filler until I get to play GOW3. That's all folks. Fun game, worth playing, but nowhere near as satisfying as GOW.

I was planning on getting this game anyway because I think the main character is hot (yes, I do), but in no way do I expect it to be better than GOW3. If GOW3 ends up just being GOW2 with better graphics, it will STILL be better than any new game of that genre.

Bull. Killzone 2 was one of my favorite videogame experiences ever, and I've been playing since '86. Unmatched atmosphere, unmatched graphics, unmatched realism. A man's man game.
But really who decided that Spike was the authority for what a great game is. MW2 is going to win only because it's a popularity contest.

I can see if the games being sold were similar, but all of them are different and will have plenty of room to breath for people who like those genres. Remember that people who own PS3s tend have a wide demographic of game-tastes and Sony has always quality catered to all of them.
Finally, I can almost guarantee that one or more of these games will be delayed a month or two.

Uh, no Sakura. It will make the game too light and abstract and too much like an action. We don't want action games, we want RPGs. But it will still sell well, I'm sure. I'm not buying it though, and this is just another reason why.

For PS3 owners, this isn't even a choice. And if it is a choice, boy I would hate to have those tastes.

I would applaud Microsoft for true innovation and would actually have a hard time explaining why I didn't have a 360. It would mean Microsoft actually sought to entertain and please the gamer almost as much as they wanted to make money. And I don't even like FPS games.
As it stands, however, the chances of this happening is pffffhahahahahahah out of nothing.
