Exactly, which is why this won't be the last Halo game made by Bungie. Microsoft owes more to Halo than to any other factor of it's gaming business, so if there needs to be another Halo, trust me it will be made. But it's nice to say such things in order to get people more hyped about the product.

I agree, but then again, I'm not a kid. I'm an adult. But I do remember playing games when I was a kid, and it's only logical that companies are going to get into their parent's money. The biggest factor so far in this generation is that Nintendo remembered that little kids still play videogames. They haven't all grown up and are in their 30s. I'm not criticizing copying or not. It's the right of a free society to copy and compete. I'm just saying that using the word "Renaissance" is ridiculous when it comes to Microsoft, outside of their introduction of Windows.

...throughout history this word has been combined with original thought and original ideas. It goes along with the word "Revolutionary". Windows was a Renaissance for them, most certainly. But being really good at copying the strategies and ideas of a previous search engine and video game system aren't part of a Renaissance.

If you're going to make no valid points, why even comment? I mean, you basically said nothing. The PS2 coming first over the original Xbox was clearly a large reason why the Xbox got the crap blown out of it. That's why Microsoft determined to release their system first this time. If the PS3 had come first...it's hard to calculate how much weaker the 360 would be but in my opinion, the 360 coming first is the only reason why it has the market share that it has. This was a very smart move by Microsoft, or so it looks that way right now. When all is said and done, though, I believe the 360 will still be third place by a clear margin.

There is absolutely ZERO chance of Activision dropping Sony. Trust me. But like any developer, they would like the PS3 to have a pricecut. So they do what businesses do---they bluff and apply verbal pressure.

This is Activision using their muscle to force a PS3 pricecut so that they themselves can potentially make even more money than they are. Other companies state that the PS3 gives them the most revenue among the current consoles.
Anything more than that is Sony h8ers trying to make up for what is for them a boring 2009.
