I played Shift, and it's pretty fun. I'm not telling you not to buy Forza 3, but it's your choice, dude. $260 for one Gran Turismo time-killer, or $60 for a Gran Turismo time-killer.

If you keep denying the fact that great, fun AAA titles are plentiful on the PS3, then you should know that you look really desperate trying to bring up a criticism and arguing point from back in 2006 and 2007, when that statement was true.
1 million in just three weeks is pretty nice! Especially there was no special occasion to go buying the Slim at launch or the weeks following. The holidays are looking good now.

Conquering Japan would be pretty tough at this point. They had a whole, wide-open year at the start, they had a big sales lead at when the other two launched and they had alot of JRPGs before PS3 got theirs, but after all that they still haven't found the right idea.
As far as the Xbox 360 is concerned, conquering Japan isn't an option anymore.
You're kidding, right? Microsoft did the same. Not to forget, Sony wasn't the company to drop the price twice in less than a month. They aren't the ones with a high failure rate despite having 4 years to fix it and they aren't the ones struggling to stay ahead of another console that came out a year later.

They are game developers for a reason. They like games. They like GOOD games. They know a good game when they see one. They don't care what whether it's exclusive or not. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a PS3 at their house. They probably do.

Anyways, this game is absolutely the most realistic game I had ever seen. There is one picture in there that I got mixed up 3 times (I saw it a while back and mixed up real vs gt, then I showed it to my friend the next day and forgot which was the real one).
Gran Turismo has wayy too much history and too big of a fanbase not to sell extremely well.
Oorrrr it could be selling do to it's induction into the Greatest Hits collection and a PS3 price cut.
Either way, it's doing well again, so the game could sell for $10 and still be selling well. Since when were low prices a bad thing?
