Mw3 for me. Here are my reasons.
1. Fast action
2. Tight controller response
3. Smooth 60hz frame rate
4. No screen tearing
5. Perks let people customize the way they want to play
6. Everyone has their own play style.
7. Kill streak rewards make you want to fight to stay alive.
8. Every match seems different. Nobody plays exactly the same.
2 totally different styles of games.
Comparing CoD to Battlefield is the same as comparing need for speed to grand tourismo.
Both games have a place in the industry. Why can't people accept that? There is no better game. A game is only as fun as you make it and much of your individual personality determines what games you find enjoyable.
I don't like Harry Potter but I'm not going to call out people who do saying they like the ...
I was expecting these type of graphics to be honest. Look at Red Dead Redemption to see what to expect for GTA V.
They're still working on current gen hardware... why are people expecting next-gen graphics?
It's not lag... it's the DEADZONE. Just try it yourself. See how far you have to actually move the stick from the resting position before the reticle starts to move.
The deadzone is HUGE in the single player campaign. You then go into Multiplayer and you can make very precision moves with the reticle.
I do not believe it's controller lag... it's the amount of deadzone they put on the analog sticks.
Compare it to UC2 and you'll see. You have to move the stick pretty far before the crosshairs begin to start moving.
Do people really think that the people working on the graphics are the sale people writing the story and coming up with the gameplay ideas. Gimme a break.
Here's the scoop guys. I know what's wrong.
I compared UC2 single player and it too has the boxy aiming where diagonal goes horizontal. However, the deadzones in UC2 are much tighter.
In UC3 single player you have to move your stick more to see your crosshairs start to move. It's not input lag, it's the deadzone setting built into the game.
I played UC3 last night for 40 minutes and it's freakin' AWESOME! How could anyone hate this game?
By the way... I love how they tightened up the fighting controls. It feels a lot better than the multiplayer punch or Ucharted 2's fighting.
I'm fine with the way things are right now. They don't need to update anything in my opinion.
I use my PS3 to play games and movies... it doesn't need to do more than that.
Speak for yourself. Infamous 2 kept me entertained for hours on end. I loved every minute of it. I'm just sad it's over.
By the way... the DLC was too short, but that's just fine with me because Uncharted 3 comes out tonight.
That otta show 'em!
Graphics look really bad. Looks like a PS1 game.
It doesn't have to beat anything. It's going to be a fun game, I'll enjoy it and get on with my life.
I'm not going to look at these screenshots because I want to experience the beauty myself when I get the game.
I'm really resisting... hard.
Wow, look at all the people praising MW3.
Where are all the "MW2 Map Pack 3" responses?
Come to find out, Battlefield isn't the savior everyone was hoping it would be. People will play MW3 and realize it's where the fun is. Yes, it's arcady... yes, it's unrealistic... but it's a GAME. After all, we play GAMES. Personally, I don't want it to be like real life.
Also, I just beat Infamous Festival of Blood! Nice!
I'm getting Uncharted 3 and then Modern Warfare 3. Battlefield isn't even on my radar.
I can't play games that have screen tearing.
Uncharted 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are going to be the games I'll be playing this winter.
I'm not sure if anyone here realizes this but thy usually don't have to update the textures. You see, when you make a game, you use very high res artwork, an then you compress it and scale it down for the hardware it's running on. Then, when you do an HD remaster of it, you go back to your high res art and drop it in (scaling as needed to run well)
Uncharted 3 no doubly has crazy high res art that you wont see in the final game but the developers have it in their ...
Actually, 60hz is the same as 60fps because when a game is v-synced (such as Call of Duty), it's running at the same refresh rate as your TV or monitor (which is 60hz usually).
60hz is the rate at which your screen can update the picture no matter how many frames per second you're pumping out of your video card, the maximum times your monitor can update is 60 updates per second (unless you have a 120hz or 240hz monitor and you're running a computer game that can b...
