Wow, I thought the exact opposite. I thought every single moment of Uncharted 3 surpassed Uncharted 2. That's just how I felt about it.
It was harder... it was bigger... it was graphically better and the set pieces were fun as ever!
The train level's helicopter boss in Uncharted 2 was so annoying... I'm so glad they didn't do that this time around.
I'd give Uncharted 2 a 10/10 and Uncharted 3 11/10.

This is on the PC version... if I'm not mistaken, PC gets maps for free. At least they did in MW1.
It would make everyone happy though if they just gave us the classic maps for free on all systems. I can understand them charging for completely new maps... but, then again, even Killzone 3 charged for retro maps.

They obviously did this on purpose. It's a throw-back for the people who loved CoD4 (me included). It looks cooler in MW3 as well.

That's weird because it took me 9 hours to beat Uncharted 2 on Normal mode and it took me 8 hours and 53 minutes to beat Uncharted 3 on Normal mode.
It was about the same length for me.
It sucks when a studio works their ASS off to provide us with something beautiful, fun and well written, and people STILL complain about stuff that they shouldn't be complaining about.
What Uncharted 3 did was EXACTLY what Uncharted 2 did EXCEPT with exciting new locations and bigger/more complex set pieces. Plus, I enjoyed the various twists in the story more than Uncharted 2.

Because with the current hardware as restrictive as it is, CoD's graphics are good enough because it runs at 60fps which is more important in an arcade-title like this.
I love Uncharted 3's graphics... they're second to none, but the online play just isn't exciting to me.
1. You don't have to pay for it
2. I don't play the campaign
3. I don't care about skill when I'm having fun
4. Why is everyone obsessed with graphics. It looks good enough for an arcade shooter.
5. Supply and Demand. As long as people want it, they'll keep making it. I still think Call of Duty has a place in the game market for a while yet. It's multiplayer is the most addicting out of all the other games I play.
With the Modern Warfare games, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a decent port so it's best to choose the version that you're most likely going to have more friends on.
Honestly, I wish my friends all had PS3s because I don't like paying for Live when I only use my 360 for 1 game.

It doesn't seem to bother me. I buy GOOD games new, so I get the pass for free. The games I buy used usually don't have my interest in multiplayer or no multiplayer at all.
Why are we even comparing graphics? History has already told us that it's the same crappy engine over and over again.

I didn't know anyone played the single player campaign in this series. I started playing the single player on Modern Warfare 2 and got bored.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a multiplayer-only game.
Plus, I want to be ranking up with everyone else, not left behind because I played SP first.
I've been playing it and it's really good. It feels way more balanced overall than MW1 and MW2 and I'm loving the new killstreaks and weapon proficiencies.
The more you play it, the more you realize the differences.
