Nasty screen tearing on this game.
I hope they get rid of that.
@thugbob
Why does a game have to be hard to be enjoyable?
Are you some sort of elitist who needs to be a part of an elite group of hardcore gamers on a f-ing video game?
The thing that makes me laugh the most is that people say "Killzone 2 was way better"... well, then play Killzone 2!
If Killzone 3 was the same as Killzone 2, people would be saying "It's just a re-skin of Killzone 2! Where are the improvem...
Why do they take joy in stealing other people's data and then releasing it to the public?
If BF3 has any screen tearing on PS3 when it's released, I won't buy the game.
If you don't know what screen tearing is, don't comment on it.
I hope DICE do what they say and polish it like crazy cause the way it looks right now, is not something I would play.
What did they think was going to happen?
Let's attack PSN... the users won't care, it just disrupts their daily gaming fun.
Of course we're gonna get pissed off.
Speculations...
pointless.
@xtreampro_REVENGE!
Wow, you couldn't be more wrong. Uncharted has a unique art style. They're very different games. A game can have different art direction and still have very sharp textures and realtime lighting you know.
By the way... I thought Crysis 2 was going to blow everything away, but instead it has crappy AI, lower than 720p resolution, and stupid looking animations. Crysis 2 was a huge letdown after hearing the devs praise the game so much...
I think Uncharted 3 is shaping up to be another blockbuster PS3 hit. It looks outstanding.
On the Forza 4 vs. GT5 thing... How can you compare 2 different games made by different developers on different systems? Every developer has different points of view and different art direction.
With that being said, they both have amazing visuals, but I can't say which one is graphically better. In order to truly compare them, would be to use the same time of day, ...
Take away the hackers' computers and see if they complain.
You see... when you take away something that people love, you're not going to make them happy.
I have this feeling that Battlefield 3 will get all this attention and everyone's on the Battlefield 3 bandwagon... then when it comes out and people get to play it... it's gonna be like "This game looks really good, but it's not very fun".
Face it, Battlefield 3 is going to be VERY different than Call of Duty, so people may start switching from COD only to realize that it doesn't have that fast paced, twitch action that they are ADDICTED to from pl...
That actually makes sense. It would be stupid for them to show off things or talk about stuff that they're not even sure is going to be in the final product.
Imagine if they showed off a really cool feature in multiplayer, did some testing and realized it wasn't working the way they wanted, so they took it out. So many people will feel like IW has let them down by promising one thing and delivering another.
So they're not going to show anything un...
I played it when it first came out. I've searched the internet and nobody has mentioned a patch that fixed the screen tearing.
Just do a search for GT5 screen tearing or something and you'll see that there's lots of people who complained about it.
Have they gotten rid of the screen tearing yet?
By the way... if you say "There's never been screen tearing in GT5" I will of course ignore what you say and take it as ignorance because GT5 definitely has screen tearing. I've played it myself and I've seen it with my own eyes. Anyone who wants to tell me otherwise is ignorant.
However, if someone used to have screen tearing, and the update fixed that, I'd be happy to know. Thanks.
The only thing I liked out of this years E3 is Uncharted 3. I couldn't care less about anything else.
I like to run, spray and die. Who says you need realism to have fun?
Why do people play arcade racers?
Some people don't want to have "skill", they want to have "fun".
However, some people enjoy the challenge and don't like to die a lot.
Call of Duty is an arcade game. It's not meant to be realistic at all. The graphics aren't realistic, the gameplay isn't realistic, some of the attachm...
Because I like talking about video games. I was giving my input on this particular video game. Anything wrong with that?
I'm just tired of everybody trying to be Call of Duty. Yes, it's a fun game (at least it was), but I feel like everyone is trying to get a piece of the pie and so far nobody has been able to come close.
I'm much more into third person view now. (Socom 4, RDR, GTA IV, Uncharted 2)
I guess I just like to see who I...
Looks fun
Meh. Looks exactly like Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
Based on these yawn-tastic trailers, I know I won't like this game.
Sick of First Person Shooters in general really. Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 killed it for me.
I thought Sony Fanboy Day is everyday on N4G...
Game Stop has a point.
Buying used games is cheaper for the consumer AND has a 7 day return period AND since PS3 uses Blu-ray, chances are that the game is not scratched.
Other than the case, I can't tell the difference between new and used. Once the game is inside the PS3, it's all software at that point.
However, I wouldn't buy a used 360 game.
