Aaaaactually Ryse's main characters are rendered [in gameplay] at 160,000 polygons. Enemy AI are at 80,000.
Initial Ryse models were 130,000,000 polygons with 147,456 × 147,456 textures.

This is a GREAT game… But it's time to let go… Play it on one of the 8 consoles it's already seen a rerelease on. (It was best on GameCube anyway.)

(And jsyk, in case you missed it, Sony's been working on Morpheus since "at least" 2010… So 5 years is pretty good for an indie when a behemoth like Sony has been working on theirs for 4(+) years and are only just now announcing it.)
