These screenshots are not new, and this news article is pointless because it doesn't show us anything we don't know already.
Go to the Playstation blog to see some of the whiners. I don't get it - this update is sick, and that map is HUGE! I will gladly pay 7.99 for this, especially now that the added element of the dropship is in play, that's just a whole new gameplay mechanic.
All these people expecting a free update... give me a freakin' break you cheap ass tards! How do you expect these guys to make a living giving all their hard work away for free? Developing video games is a career that these t...

They said NO PADDING OR DATA DUPILCATION, and FULL OPTIMIZATION.
And that's also why IGN said Mass Effect was full of glitches, including many times where the game fails to load textures when you walk into areas. Then again, i've seen this numerous times in other 360 games when playing them, so I don't think it's a fault of the game itself.
Oh and BTW, 360 games aren't a full 9 gigs, as 2 or so of the gigabytes of space on the disk are used for Microsoft's copy ...

Furthermore, the game takes up 22GB of a Blu-ray disc, whereas an Xbox360 DVD is only 9GB. Lets not get into a fanboy war about the advantage of Blu-ray, since the Xbox has Mass Effect, a huge game, in fact far longer than Uncharted in game length. But that somewhat misses the point, could Naughty Dog have compressed the game to fit into 9gb? Perhaps. However, once again they would need to make a lot of concessions, and spend money doing so, removing resources from making the visuals and game...
I wonder if I should have bought Uncharted instead of buying Assassin's Creed. I mean, AC is a good game, but it just seems there's a lot more gameplay variety in Uncharted.
I dunno. Maybe i'll trade AC in for Uncharted while it's still in high demand....

My SXRD beats my friend's Samsung LED DLP that he picked up a while back, and the black level and contrast calibration settings on this thing really outshine many LCD and Plasma sets out there. Of course, the RPTV technology always has its own share of shortcomings, but overall I couldn't be any happier with my TV.
Hell, it sure impresses all my guests that come over and watch upscaled DVD's and Blu Ray movies, as well as high-powered games such as Gears of War, Halo 3, Biosho...
Luckily I still have my old copies of Doom and Final Doom for the PSone that I occasionally play upscaled on my PS3. But if ID released a DooM collection for all the systems, I would be all over it in an instant.
I have the 50a3000 sxrd that I bought for 2200, and now it's all the way down to 1500.
This is why i'm never an early adopter of ANYTHING....

I'm talking about you not seeing the people saying that these screens are old and from the trailer! You asked "Wow, I hope those are old screenshots because that looks horrible.", which is where my statement came from.
I guess using the word "listen" doesn't make much sense considering it's words on a screen, but you should know what I mean.
