I can't wait for this, even with it being so far off from release still. 20 hours of gameplay is more than welcome!
Beat me to it!
:-p
Of course the PS3 doesn't have "RROD", but it DOES FREEZE UP as reported in numerous other news articles.
Some people were even reporting that the game crashed their console completely.
edit: I should have known better than to try to talk sense in the open zone...
I've come to expect this from them now, so much so that I have become inclined to believe rumors of this nature.
Now if someone could find a way to mod it so you have LED's lighting up the inside, it would be even better.
Grow up.
Hype in this day and age is getting ridiculous. Even back in the days of the PS2 and XBOX, things were never this bad...
It would seem to sound like it's further access to things not normally available over the PSN; maybe things that developers want a limited few having their hands on.
Why the hell do sites like IGN charge for videos and other things that, in your logic, should be free? Granted, I think they should be free myself considering what IGN used to be like, but it's still a relevant comparison.
We shall wait and see what this "Qore" service delivers, won't we?
It's not just the architecture of the PS3 or the 360, but it's the game programming itself that is conflicting with the console's cache. All individual system complaints/flaming aside, this is a rather unfortunate epidemic that gamers are having to deal with.
This is what sucks about consoles becoming more and more similar to the PC environment they are mimicing.
Come on man, at least try to add constructive comments to the article.
Or post in the Open Zone....
Now if Sony fails to deliver on key content that everyone would like to see (which is always a possibility with Sony), then we can start getting up in arms about having to pay for disappointment. Until then, I think we should remain optimistic about this endeavor. There's already enough negativity about the PS3/PSN to last us a lifetime, and people fail to recognize Sony is still relatively new to this whole thing and is at least trying different things to see what works. Plus, they are (albi...
This is still relevant gaming news. Besides, what about the GTA IV reviews that are still trickling in? You don't see those causing complaints...
Yeah hopefully SCEE enables this same sort of thing for you guys. I know Sony tends to screw you guys over when it comes to the PSN, so here's keeping fingers crossed this is announced for overseas networks as well.
I'm glad someone pays attention to detail around here
Just look at HOME, or any closed beta/demo offered by game companies. Some people have to pay to be included, and others are just lucky enough to be some of the select few to get such things for free. At least with this, if there are any such activities going on, we can at least have the chance to pay to participate instead of relying on the luck of the draw.
"Everything is filmed in HD. Qore will feature exclusive news, developer interviews, in-depth game previews and behind-the-scenes looks at PlayStation games and special access to game demos, special beta invitations, game add-ons and other downloadable game-related content."
Qore could literally contain anything Sony could give users who want to pay a small little fee to experience. Then again, I think I am rationalizing it a lot more than most people here because I was...
Besides, this is is optional, and only for those who want more than just a standard "behind the scenes" look at things.

Special access to game demos, special beta invitations,...
This evidence suggests otherwise...
Go Blu or go home! :)
Though I can't figure out who is really at fault here: PS3 fanboys, or MGS fanboys?
I defend whichever one I feel should recieve it at the time. Hell, I was one of the people who approved that 360 GTA article. It's just really hard to tell with all the idiot fanboys on this site who is joking and who is serious. I harbor no actual hard feelings towards you, ok?
