I think that's the most agrees i've ever seen TheMart get for a comment on this website...
Nice to know that this is an optional thing you can pay for to further enhance your knowledge in all things Playstation. The PSN will still function for you as normal if you don't want to pay to play these eps.
This ridiculous "i'm going to knock off points for anything related to the PS3" bullsh1t is getting out of hand. So this complete idiot is telling us that even though it will most likely improve texure loading, load times, or all around stability, because it's an install on the PS3's HDD that it's completely ridiculous?
Seriously, 300 freaking megabytes and this douchebag with an internet-outlet-for-his-consol e preference-disguised-as-journa lism is complaining?

We all know this game is going to sell millions, so what's the big deal here? Even with an average of 9 or above, to the fanboys of the world that is still considered AAA.
You don't have to do this to stay updated on most of the goings-on in the world of Playstation, however I would imagine there would be some sort of informative incentive for downloading these Eps. 2.99 is really not that bad for 1 episode a month.
Come to think about it, 1 ep. a month might not be enough considering how fast news travels. Sony needs some UBER-EXCLUSIVE INFORMATION!!11! if this will become relevant in today's gaming media culture.
However, like you said, if they can't provide content that's *really exclusive* to the PSN, than I don't see how it will be that much different than searching the internet for stories, or hanging out on N4G all day. You gotta provide more than a shiny coat of paint over things to make it worth people's while. Then again, it could be good for those users who don't sit on a computer all day refreshing their internet browsers for gaming knowledge because they have other more important things to ...
"...and since we prefer Xbox Live to PlayStation Network, we won't purchase the PS3 edition. Sorry Darth."
What the hell is that doing in the article then?
"...and since we prefer Xbox Live to PlayStation Network, we won't purchase the PS3 edition. Sorry Darth."
Uh, bias much?
This is the f'ing last game in the Solid Snake era! Of course there is going to be a lot of story elements to bring the other games together and close out the main series!
This was a rather balanced "review", even though there was no score. Actually, it's almost better that there is no score because it lets us concentrate on the actual article and not run right to the score to see if another reviewer gave the game a 10 or not.
Edit: I have a feeling that d...
And don't pull the "LULZ DIS SITE IS FULL OF SONY FANBOIZ" because a year ago people were bashing the PS3 left and right and you were more than okay with it.
" This is just a theory based on skimming about."
What kind of skewed statement is that? Skimming about? More like selective reading and bending facts to suit your argument! You are one of the worst fanboys around here and everyone knows it. Even some pro-360 users would cringe at hitting th...
In other news, I remember last year right around this time when the PS3 was getting heavily bashed by a veritable 360 fanboy army. It's interesting that when all the positive PS3 news starting coming out of the woodwork, followed by a Blu-Ray victory earlier this year, most of the rabid fanboys went by the wayside. It's just funny how quickly people forget when they want to twist a situation in their favor...
I laugh at their realization that they are going to be in some serious sh1t...
I've been spending too much time with GT5:Prologue to even care about other racing games at the moment. The only other racing game I am looking forward to is Wipeout HD, and maybe to a lesser extent Fatal Inertia EX (because i'm a huge futuristic racing game fan). I think if I was to play a racing game that was non-sim but still retained aspects of real-life racing, I would play the PGR games. PGR 4 is an awesome game, even moreso because they included bikes (Ducati FTW!).
I play...
The teeter-totter keeps rocking back and forth in the world of gaming fanboyism.
Just play your f*cking games and quit concentrating on stupid bullsh1t such as this. I think we should be worrying about framerate issues and horrible camera glitches (you know, stuff that actually affects gameplay) more than a game running at such-and-such resolution (something that doesn't affect gameplay).
Now the poor little fanboys have to find something ELSE to bi+ch about... :)
But in all seriousness, this is great.
I see you posting comments of that nature against both systems...
And the percentage would be 99.5%.
My friend and I both played the hell out of the first two, and I really appreciated the first game's single player story line. Plus, it had really good graphics for an early PS2 title. I am not sure if I am quite sold on the third person perspective *yet*, but the more I read about Guerrilla, the more it seems like it might work out.
Ninja Gaiden's framerate issues state otherwise. I thought this was supposed to be the uber-ninja game to kill off all other games this summer? Too bad it'll be overshadowed by MGS4, as it's really a good game despite its technological shortcomings. Itagaki kind of deserves any negative press it gets, however, for shooting his mouth off at other developers. Just like Free Radical's HAZE fiasco, if devs would concentrate on making great games and not focus so much on what others are involved i...
The gameplay has always been the core aspect of the NG games anyway.
