PS3 will have Bioshock. PS3 has Uncharted, a game which in my opinion, is a greater achievement than Gears of War (and that game is DAMN good). PS3 has one of the best online games on consoles this gen, Warhawk. PS3 has the best launch title out of all the systems this gen in terms of what it achieved technically, Resistance: FoM (even though many fanboys called it underwhelming, that really is a narrow point of view). PS3 has GT5: Prologue, the best-looking racer ever released on consoles, a...
They (like many typical xbox 360 users, and maybe even MS themselves) were unable to look further down the road at what would lie ahead for gaming. They wanted the here and the now (at that point in time) and the 360 delivered. The 360 still delivers with its online content (for now), but any idiot who disparaged the PS3's future-proof capabilities and upgrade-ability is either A) a blind fanboy who will never admit anything positive about Sony, or B) finally removing their collective feet fr...
PP YOU FREAKING MORON. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A PS3.
DAMN, you are huge bottom-feeding retard.
You really are an asshole fanboy!
More disappointment from Sony...
Thanks a lot for stopping work on two of my most anticipated games! I didn't care when they would come out - only that I would have liked to see them sometime this generation.
I am a Playstation fan at heart, but sometimes Sony really f'ing pushes my buttons the wrong damn way.
Seriously, why???
It's also the logo for Direct X as well
Whoops! ;-p
I used to subscribe to the Official US Playstation Magazine back in the day just to get stuff like this, and the demo disc was one of the biggest reasons why I paid for the mag. 2.99 is not that bad of a price for an episode. Hell, people pay that much for some TV shows on ITunes, and I know people use XBL to buy TV shows and stuff that. Even though people could get them for free on P2P networks or Youtube, they still choose to purchase them because they are in HD.
There is a mar...
just hope they don't limit access to all demos on the PSN. That would suck.
Just because a game scores higher does not automatically make it better.
haha, I forgot sarcasm doesn't travel very far on this website... ;)
Come on, LJ, you know what people like to do around here.
But in actual response to your statement, I suppose you are right.
But then again that isn't saying much... lol
I was waiting to see what the first PS3 game would be that would implement that wonderful feature, and it's good to see it so soon. I hope this starts becoming a trend in games in the coming months ahead, as it's now part of the PS3 devkit. I hope that multiplatform developers take advantage of this feature, especially in multiplayer games where sharing your gaming moments with your friends would be one of the biggest draws.
I never thought about it that way, but you may be right. The casual gamers of today might be the hardcore gamers bashing things such as the Wii (or whatever equivalent they have) two generations from now. Then again, we could also have a situation like what Atari had to deal with back in the 80's, and what was also the main contributor to the great gaming recession back in the day. Guess we'll see what things bring us in the next few years or so, eh?
Exactly. It really is all subjective on what someone can really like and what you can tell them is good. There have been many AAA games reviewed in the past that really just didn't tickle my fancy as much as other, more overlooked titles.
You speak a LOT of gibberish, Nasim, but for once I will agree with you here on the basis that you provided an objective point and gave credit to NG2 as being a good game.
lol @ people disagreeing with morganfell's obvious fact
It should have read
"Ninja Gaiden 2 scores 4.2 / 5 at Cheat CC"
This way it would have prevented any unnecessary fanboy bickering beyond the obvious douchebags that will never play this game.
They had a trailer that was running in-game assets, meaning they at least had an engine up and running that was able to create it. Plus the trailer was so cinematic and moody, it really pains me that we won't be able to play the game now. I was less excited for Eight Days because it was a new franchise and nobody knew jack about it.
Off topic: I really want to hear more about INfamous. If that game ever gets cancelled, I will be supremely pissed off.
