Consoles are nice because they are easy to set up and use. But I recently built a new PC and haven't really touched either my 360 OR my PS3 in a couple weeks. Hopefully if this update brings everything to the table, i'll have a reason to hop on the system again.
They can't justify why MS is charging for many of these features, so they have to pull the "WELCOME TO 2 YEARS AGO LOLZ!" card. It's really pathetic, because no matter how much people try to negatively rationalize this, we all know 2.4 will be packed with features that the 360 has, therefore making each positive point for the 360 diminish in quick succession.
Bubble up! You are making me laugh
You're far from innocent at all, so quit trying to act like you aren't in the wrong here; Stealth Trolling is still trolling.
Completely useless
Didn't know that, now I do.
Can you put your own custom photo on your Gamercard? I don't have LIVE on my 360, so I don't know.
Once the PS3 gets them, we will still be paying NOTHING for PSN.
You guys are really something, huh? Fanboys are fanboys, no matter what the side.

Not to mention the countless times people have complained about LAGGY P2P service you pay 50 dollars a year ...
You show your extreme ignorance once again! And look, you have your fellow 360 troll, GiantEnemyCrab holding your hand. Maybe you don't remember the famous XBOX LIVE outage of last year?

How...
And so far, no you can't. You can download stuff from the internet and the PSN and have it queue in the background, but that's about it.
... To have a console that has worked from day one and hasn't had a fatal system error like Red Ring of Death!
I don't even play my XBOX enough to worry about that, however.
Agreed 100 percent! I don't see why more developers don't take advantage of that functionality on the PS3. It's also why I believe developers should release more RTS games on the PS3, because of the natural ease of the control method.
If any one of those games were to be released on the 360, they would probably all have a metascore of 95 percent or higher. But since they are on the PS3, games get dinged for stupid, arbitrary or inane reasons. I believe there was even one reviewer (can't remember the site) who faulted Ratchet and Clank for having *too much* variety.
The double standard in gaming is rather ridiculous.
All the same in the end: Money-Hungry execs who care not about the content they withhold, but about how much cash they are raking in from that; even at the expense of the original IP creators' discretion.
I know it sounds cliche to hate corporate ethics, but these are times when the hate is well-justified.
No wonder so many women love the Wii... ;)
I can't help but stare at that static image in that video...
Very nice! :-p
I love the strikers / 1941 games. In fact, i'm going to go play them on my MAME emulator right now!
Thanks for the memory trip...
I never thought it would sell that much. I mean, MGS games have never been super popular in Japan; they have always sold more in the US and EU, compared to the sales in JP.
Good for Konami and Kojima Productions. I'm sure they are happy with the reception this game has recieved thus far. I can't wait till NPD data comes out for MGS sales in the US, and how many units this game pushed in June.
I especially like the excellent HDR coming over the mountains and reflecting off of the Chimera warriors.
I can't wait for this game!
