Why does this site's layout look almost exactly like gamespot from 2 years ago?
and why are we getting first impressions several days AFTER launch?
people hate on halo because they need to justify their belief that if they buy a 360, they're traitors. rather than give it a fair chance, they just keep telling themselves that it's a "generic shooter."

It doesn't exist. Get over it. There can't be a sequel for everything. Especially if there's no market for it. If the publishers thought they could profit from it, it would have come out by now.
exact same thing happens to a ps3 exclusive and you get no disagrees. but when it's a 360 exclusive, there's no shortage of trolls there to agree with the desperation.

Frankly, the footage was enough for me. I don't really trust the word of any major reviewer. I pretty much trust Yahtzee and that's about it...not that i always agree with him.

Never know, you may be right. I think what was said in the video review is probably pretty accurate, but i'm not sure the score lines up with it based on what i have seen in the past. a 6/10 would ring a lot truer.
Either way, must miss. I'm sick to death of these "realistic" war shooters. Bring on Halo 4 and Farcry 3!

These interactive trailers don't do anything for me. Too many breaks in the excitement. I'd rather just see a few different trailers back to back.
no, that's just what a person that doesn't play halo wants to believe. gotta perpetuate that myth that 360 can't do great graphics and that halo isn't top dog...especially in the multiplayer space.
This is real capitalism, and the way a free market is supposed to work. Companies competing for customers. The company gets business, the consumer gets a better quality of life through more bang for their buck.

I agree with you, and i can't really stand COD (to me it just feels like baby's first FPS -- EZmode). BUT! COD is not without its share of features.

he is right about some of the pics though. but that doesn't take away from the clear evolution reflected in the pics that are in-game.

look, this all comes down to perspective, i suppose. you have to take a lot of things into consideration. i absolutely LOVED RE2. I thought it was a great game. the way you got to choose which disc you played first and how it influenced the other disc.
...but, it didn't provide unlimited gameplay. it didn't let you play with friends. it didn't give you a unique experience each time that was always intense and challenging.

They made the right choice with number 1. I haven't clocked as many hours in every other zombie game combined as i have in L4D 1 and 2; and i have played every other game on this list at least once. So much fun!
yeah, i'm not sure what you mean by aim mechanic either. COD uses iron sights, halo doesn't. unless you mean auto aim, but all console shooters have had that since before either series.
