They aren't trying to stay a competitor. They ARE a competitor. See you might think that the PS4 is the greatest eeevvvaaaa but the fact is if that was the case no one would buy or play on the X1. The Wii u shows you what happens when people don't like a console.

I think Remedy takes to long to make games for a sequel. I have a feeling its going to sell very well. But unless it does Halo/UC/Witcher numbers Remedy will start a new game and release it in 4 years. Its not going to do numbers like the games I mentioned because its a new IP and new IP doesn't sell like that.

Umm I'm a console gamer. Haven't even owned a PC that could play a 10 year old game for 10 years. Consoe gamers want plug and play yes. But I think gamers and the big two wish they would have made them a bit more powerful. Plain and simple. That's why there is all this talk about the .5s.

I think the issue is the word choice; are MS and Sony "killing" consoles? Or are they evolving them? I don't think more frequent updates are the answer, nor do I think we will see frequent updates to a any degree really.

I've not played that game yet. So 18 min of gameplay doesn't tell me all I need to know. I have played the other 3 multiple times each and, while amazing, they are a traditional 3rd person shooter. Sorry if that makes you mad. Its ok that UC is that.

IS it crappy? Not from the vast majority of reviews. Some equate the action/acting/production values to the best shows on TV. So I think crappy is far from accurate.

I think they've both raised the bar. I mean I know you're going to disagree based on your comments all over QB articles, but both are at the top of the game.
The thing is to all commenters the live action stuff is quite good (so I read generally speaking) and adds rather than subtracts from the experience. I think the reviewers who talked negatively about it in general had a negative bias towards it, which I think does the game a disservice.
You cant just review QB like you would any other game in one important way. You have to go into it with a open mind towards the LA stuff. Im not saying you would for sure love it if you did ...

I loved the Metro games but wish there was more story and less fighting. The world was very impressive. SO what I hear makes me excited for QB.
On a side note you should really consider buying it new. Developers spend years crafting these games. They don't do it so Gamestop can make huge profits on them. Wait for a discount if you want but buy it new.

It seems to me, and I'm no expert, but these studies always seem to find out what they aim to find out.
On top of that 500 years ago men regularly beat, and mistreated their wives. As far as I know they didn't have GTA, or violent movies. Fast forward to today and women are treated as equals.
