I am pretty sure Mario Odyssey will take that cake. Crackdown 3 looks meh, Horizon Zero Dawn was meh, already sold it (Thankfully I got it for free with a PS4 bundle and didn't spend on it). Going to buy Switch in October or maybe November along with Zelda and Mario. Till then time to finish Nioh and Bloodborne.
Interesting
> Site defends Microtransactions
> Blacklists site.
This is excluding the people who play Overwatch, LoL etc that have significant numbers as well. PC gaming is growing good, so much so that Japanese developers are also porting games to Steam.
WAIT WOT..... 4k 165 Hz ;_______________________;
Oh please.... I would have Doom over Titanfall 2 any day everyday without a single shred of doubt.
While I do agree that Platinum might not work with Xbox because of that incident, isn't it up to Square Enix to decide whether porting the game would be good or not? Of course developers have a say in the deal, but I have only ever seen few developers standing up to their publishers, the most recent being Rockstar standing up to Tak Two for the whole modding issue
Expensive paperweight? :3 /s
In all seriousness though, I have no idea about Xbox One since I don't own it. I own a PS4 simply because of Bloodborne, Nioh, Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 which are not on PC.
Wow.... Never thought about how the story reflects the design philosophy. And yes I do agree that Majima's side of the story is well written, but Kiryu's doesn't fall far behind. The only flaw I found in the game was that the game takes about 5-7 hours just to set up, but oh well, it's totally worth it.
No Persona 5? No Nioh? No Yakuza 0? Yet Injustice, Horizon Zero Dawn and RE7? GG
You missed some of the really good games of the year.
None of the annual franchises change much every year, just a new and (probably) enhanced coat of paint.
The same way FC Primal allowed us to tame a sabretooth? Hahahhahahahaha
Yakuza 0 is in my Top 5 games of the year. It's not a huge open world, but every inch of the map is wisely utilized and has a very good story as well.
If ARK didn't shut down after the paid DLC for an Early Access game, I am not really surprised.
Just Cause 3 is one of the most fun games this gen and is definitely a milestone in terms of technical brilliance. No idea how Avalanche managed to cram all that destruction and being so optimized (At least now). It has flaws, but that didn't stop me from putting 100 hours into it without the multiplayer mod. Now that the multiplayer mod is here, I guess another 100 hours of grappling to planes is inevitable.
Stopped reading since "lack of set pieces"
Yeah right you want some set pieces, find some other game which takes control away from the player and is highly directed. Don't expect that in a RPG which has much more actual gameplay depth. And while Zelda is a good game, saying that Zelda has a 'generous serving of music' and not at all mentioning Nier Automata's soundtrack, this site is undoubtedly worth blacklisting.
Excited.. It feel like a mix between FURI and Dark Souls....
Who still plays this s**t..... Once I got Rocket League, as a football player myself, FIFA felt like a wannabe football simulation which was trying hard to keep the essence of football alive virtually.
No wonder GTA V got modding back on PC, and paid mods never happened for Skyrim. Exactly because nobody cares what Steam thinks.
That's a hell lot of money ;-;
Wow!!!
