*turns on Xbox*
Weird. Nothing but my games I own, a bunch of games they're are advertising because they're on sale, and some movies. No fast food. Is my Xbox broken?
Bless your heart, my sweet summer child.
Then you'll blame the general public for not supporting it.
I can reinstall virtually all of my PC games in perpetuity, no matter if the storefront shutters or not. Sounds like ownership to me.
You can still play the better, original FF7 on Xbox, and 16 is far from the best in the series. Let alone a king of JRPGs.

I could get behind this.
GoG already lets you backup your games, and Steam has a system in place were they to ever shutdown. It's everyone else who needs to catch up.
That does make a big difference! What does that cost?
Wait ... that's free? How?
Honestly though, it does look better, in ways, but that's a bit too over-sharpened and darkened. It creates a more vibrant looking picture, but that's about it. There's definitely better examples of what has been done with the PC build over the years.
Maybe you're just blind.
Or you could be. Who knows?
Going by your actual trailer for it, there were a good number of parts where the original did look better ...
Nice.
So it's Helldivers 2 all over again, in a way, because now some people who own the original would be region locked out if they wanted the upgrade.
This PSN requirement thing is completely needless.
Exactly. Not to mention what the modding scene will put out in the coming months.
Not surprising. The game was pretty dead for a long time now, and was pretty mid.
There's obviously some work done with character models and foliage but I thought the original looked better in a lot of scenes.
Rockstar makes pretty questionable decisions anymore.
Lame.
It's weird. Neither does my Xbox.
