I'm seeing a lot of reviews stating many are having issues even creating accounts right now. Then you have the people region locked out of the game entirely. It's also a single player game, which makes this being a requirement utterly pointless.

The game could use another shot on store shelves but, really, this is another needless remaster that nobody needed. It's already been updated for PS5 and it's not an old game. Sony has a very loose definition of "remaster" as of late.
One, I don't speak for everybody; nor they me. Two, Square Enix can do a poor job optimizing for both console AND PC as well. They're just known for bad PC ports in general.
It definitely altered their future.

While I feel it's yet another unneeded remaster that nobody asked for, this is at least a game that could use another shot.
Remasters of older games that are due for a significant visual upgrade and some QoL improvements. Not a game they played just a few years ago with a couple modest updates.
And yet they'll continue to support PC, more and more each year.
Console players will still buy on console. PC players will still be buying on PC. Being grumpy because you have to share games with another platform, despite the fact it changes nothing about your access and enjoyment of them, doesn't change that fact. It will be aight, lil buddy.
I think they care more about the extra money they make than people whining because they have to share their toys.

Literally just the Pro, because I think it's an expensive machine for what it actually offers. That thought is shared by the majority, I might add. Not just decenter fanboys. Never really anti-Sony outside of that, aside from isolated things here and there, but that's true for me about pretty much every platform.

Pretty much. There's a lot of hate on this site for Gamepass, but put games on the different tiers of the PS subscription, and whenever they get that free day one release, it's an entirely different tune. No talk about how this choice is killing devs.
