And if someone offered you a million dollar check, how would you react to others trying to prevent it from happening? Probably in a very similar fashion. Going to do what you can to protect the offer and make it happen. Hate Kotick all you want for whatever he's done, but don't act like you wouldn't do the same thing if someone offered you a substantial amount of money.
That's really not safe to say at all. Often times games made for Sandbox VR are tailor-made for the large empty room sizes they offer and the experience isn't meant to be played in homes. With this game, I imagine they will have the famous red light/green light game from the show. Which can be done in a large empty room, but not in a confined space.
We did. That's what sparked the Switch Pro rumors to begin with. Rumors of an updated SOC.
And they have yet to make a Zenimax game that's exclusive. They even honored in-place deals. I'm not sure why people are still thinking they will pull COD from other platforms. It doesn't make sense to from a business standpoint. Same reason they didn't do it with Minecraft. Microsoft is even saying they won't be doing it. So what more commitment do you want?
Where is the evidence of it not being sustainable? All I've seen is success stories from many indie developers who have gotten great followings and success for having their games on something like Game Pass. If it wasn't sustainable, then developers and Microsoft wouldn't be doing it. Sony wouldn't have followed suit if it wasn't sustainable.
What there is no evidence of, is that Nintendo 1st party quality would take a nosedive. So I'm not even sure ...
@Crows90
You're entirely missing Sony's argument and I suppose that's why you're so confused. Sony is saying the Microsoft is going to take Activision and have them stop making games for Playstation. Which 1. Microsoft has never said is going to be the case and we have history such as Minecraft where it wasn't made the case and 2. SONY DOES THE EXACT SAME THING! They bought studios that made games for other platforms, bought them, and then those studios no longer ...
The size of the game and success of them previous doesn't matter. Sony is saying they don't want Microsoft doing exactly what they've done. Which is to buy a studio and make it so they no longer makes games for Playstation. Sony has done that time and time again, so they are hypocrites no matter how you look at it.
Bluepoint Games, Insomniac Games, Firesprite, Guerrilla Games, Housemarque, and Nixxes Software all at one point released a game on an Xbox system before being bought by Sony and now they cannot.
Now of course they aren't making games as big as Call of Duty, but that's not the point be argued. The point being argued is whether or not Sony purchasing studios has in turn made their content exclusive. The answer to that is absolutely yes they have. We have no idea how...
I love how sites are willingly writing articles displaying the leaked content for clicks, then doing a complete 180 of the script and saying how bad it is to have happened to get even more clicks. "We shouldn't celebrate this but let us exploit it first, please."
They used to. Now half a month seems to be the trend for some reason.
A lot of people don't have fast Internet and want games and updates to download while not playing.
Again, completely different when the plan is designed specifically to be shared. Everyone thought the $1 intro pricing loophole would be temporary as well and yet here we are a couple months later with it still allowed. There is no Kool Aid to drink here, just great deals and service.
Except one key difference, Microsoft is intentionally introducing a plan meant to be shared. Netflix never did that intentionally and now it's going to start cracking down on the sharing.
Netflix only allows you to share with people in the same household, and unless you all want to watch the same thing at the same time, more concurrent streams does cost more. Netflix plans to start cracking down on accounts not sticking to sharing with people in the same household. Meanwhile the new Game Pass plan is encouraging you to by allowing you to add "friends and family" that live within the same country. As for price, it's actually cheaper per person on the family plan b...
The main difference is a Netflix family plan is meant to only be shared within the same household, which they are going to start cracking down on soon. The forthcoming Game Pass plan is meant for and encouraging sharing with friends and family outside your household, taking the limitation to the point of needing to only be within the same country.
When it comes to price tag, the new Game Pass plan is suspected to be $5 per person per month if you can fill up all five slots...
Aren't these the developers who called gamers entitled and toxic just because they expressed distaste in the game being exclusive to the Epic Games Store?
Actually, people are free to assume whatever they want to assume. But you know what they say...
You must not have gotten the memo that they've ran out of 360 games to put on the service. Which is why they will no longer be part of the service come October. The last few months will probably be repeats because of this.
Who? Oh right, another exec from EA who helped run that place into the ground.
Or you can be smart and wait for them to release to pay your $15/mo. But the point of the comment you're replying to is to list the games coming this year in relation to the article asking if the service will be worth it in 2023. So of course the games haven't been released. That was kind of the point of the comment.
