I've been game sharing Game Pass games just fine since the beginning. It doesn't work across logins, like you said, until you properly set your consoles as the home console in the correct way.

The one on NexusMods is only DLSS2. The paid one on Patreon is DLSS3 and that's the one that's been cracked.

Probably one of those articles they will update over time.

If you go look at early reviews of Skyrim Special Edition, it was "Mixed" 59% on Steam in the first month. Oblivion Game of the Year Edition was "Positive" 90%. I'd expect Starfield to also rise as time goes on.

Doubtful of any chance of this coming to Game Pass. Neither Divinity game has been on Game Pass thus far.

For starters, because the CEO of Discord has a terrible history with the stealing and handling of people's data. Discord is probably the worst place for anything. Jason Citron got his start with an iOS game that was removed from the Appstore by Apple because it would download your entire contact list and send it to his servers unencrypted without the user ever consenting or even knowing it happened. He then went on to start OpenFeint, which had a class action lawsuit filed against with al...

Reaching a number of strikes will result in different lengths of ban and offenses can result in multiple strikes. Hate speech is three strikes, was an example given. Which results in a 3-day ban if the person committed the offense with zero strikes already on record.

If you'll recall, they got rid of it entirely back in March. So really it's not changing from being 1 month to 14-days. It's changing from being non-existing to 14-days.

@Jin_Sakai clearly you didn't read the article. No one in the article is saying that is the case. They are just pointing out that the system is designed as such. So if someone were to be gang reported without cheating the system would still oust them. In other words, they are pointing out that the system is designed to oust anyone booted from the server for ANY REASON, not just for cheating. Which means people booted for reasons other than cheating will also be ousted. However, the assump...

@Jin_Sakai Please read articles before commenting on them. It's really not that hard. People are saying it will also oust people who have been gang reported and did nothing wrong at all.

Did you even read the article? The concerns being raised are that the system can also oust people who don't cheat.

Got to go back a few steps before that. They need to go back to actually finding a strong case. Can't present one if you don't even have one.

@Sonic they don't have to stop selling Xbox there. Essentially they would have to "remove" Activision operations from the country. Meaning move the studios and run games sales through a distributor. Once Activision is "removed" from the country, then there is no need to merge them within the country.

He's referring to the lawsuit that's already been filed by the FTC. This will accelerate that process now because it will bring the case to a federal court which run on a quicker timeframe.

Would be interesting to see how the competition compares. I understand they don't tout "All games coming out within the year" at their shows, but they still give release dates and those are often times missed.

With how often games are delayed these days, I'm reading this 25% and thinking that seems kind of low. 🤷‍♂️

A fallback is when you have two or more things/situations/etc and you put one as the priority over the other. If that one fails, you have the others to fallback on. I.E. you have another plan to fallback on.

So when you say, "fallback happens when they do only live service games." that is not true. If they were ONLY doing live service games, they would have nothing to fallback on in that situation. There would be no backup plan already there for the waiting. They ...

They probably announced and added most of these last showcase season and chances are they were on one-year deals. So makes sense June would see a high list of departing games than most other months.

Same applies for many things. Physical games you still don't "own" the game. You have just purchased a license to play it and a physical disc with some of the game data on it. Many times, you still need to download some form of digital content to play the game. Phones, computers, TV, cars, etc. etc. all have some sort of digital content or license that you don't own.

LOL at anyone thinking I meant all of Microsoft should pull out. Obviously I meant just leave the UK gaming market. Didn't think that had to be clarified, as that's the entire context of this debacle.

At the end of the day, MS could probably just pull out of the UK market and the deal would still be worth it to them from a business standpoint. Then it's the CMA that looks to be the anti-consumerist by forcing a major player out of the market. Not saying I want that, but damn that would be a power move and kind of funny. Microsoft just goes, "Welp...see ya later then."
