Most PS3's don't overheat. I mean I think it's great that the new slim has a shut off feature if overheating occurs, but the fact of the matter is the 360 is been around for a few years and it still suffers from the same problems it did from day one. Hopefully this new mechanism will at least limit the number of problems.
