30-40 hour main campaign. Seems perfect. Huge world with kits to explore and quests to do for people that want to spend more time and go all-in on the world.

There is nothing stopping any Dev from implementing any pay structure they want. They didnt implement the mobile game system in Diablo 3 and also said they're different games and Diablo 4 won't have those loot boxes.

Exactly. The free to play mobile game has over the top monitization... Because it's a F2P mobile game. This isn't that.
The problem is Sony is paywalling backwards compatability behind a subscription service. On PC/Xbox, you can just play your old games or buy them form $1-$10 and play them. No need for a subscription.

These and all the Yakuza games are in GamePass, just play them there instead of paying retail.
It's less than the price of two NEW videos games per year. Most of these are games you probably already played and can be purchased for less than $10. It also sucks to have to subscribe to play games you already own on the platform. It's great as a 1-2 month nestalgia trip, but makes no sense to pay annually for.
Playing games in GamePass till supports the Devs. There are tons of interviews with devsexplaining that.
You could mine iron in Skyrim too if you wanted. Starfield isn't a tree punching game, it's a RPG. Can you mine thing, yes. Will it Bea core mechanic, probably not.
This game looks incredible. Given I spent 100s of hours in Oblivion and Skyrim, I can only imagine how much time I'll sink into this.

It works great on am Galaxy Tablet or Surface when I'm traveling for work, and that's on hotel wifi. The TV integration will be great for people that can't afford, find, or need a new system.
