It is a pretty fun game, even if it does feel a tad dated. The metroidvania elements are well done here, and searching around the map is very rewarding. Can't help but think of Nathan Drake all the time because of Nolan North's presence lol.
I tell you what, this industry may be shrewd when it comes to business decisions, but I love seeing all these other developers offering jobs and support to those affected by this. It shows that the industry is comprised by people with good intentions and respect for other. Seeing all the support from developers on Twitter last week was spectacular.
I know I'm in the super small minority here, but I actually think both Battlefield 1 & Infinite Warfare look pretty good. I like that Call of Dufy appears to be hinting at space battles, which is something I've always found appealing. Play, the CoD campaigns are normally really fine (Hoping IW can bounce back after Ghosts). I'm thrilled BF is going all the way back to WWI though. The thought of being on a Zeppelin with friends as we all man turrets and such sounds awesome. I h...
I'll recommend to anyone that picks this game up to play it with headphones on. The atmosphere, audio work, and soundtrack are exceptional. There aren't too many "jump scares" in this game, and honestly, it doesn't need any. The disturbing visuals and atmosphere are more than enough to create a suffocating sense of dread.
YES! Don't forget the possibility of a new version of the PS4 dropping this fall as well. Three pieces of hardware would've been brutal along side the Fall rush of games. I just hope the NX is the savior that Nintendo fans deserve.
I'm such a huge fan of the Alien movies (AvP was OK), and that Aliens board is frigging awesome. $10 is pricey for three tables, but thankfully they are 3 AWESOME looking tables.
I'm with you, as much as I despise the multiplayer suite (as of now), I respect the hell out of the guys and girls who have mastered the gameplay; there's clearly a steep learning curve here. The campaign is a blast, I loved playing the Ultimate Edition on Xbox One and can't wait for the Gears of War 4 campaign to drop in October. Should fun as hell playing cooperatively
It's a fantastic game and much deeper than I could've possibly imagined. For $20, I didn't expect to get an experience with this much depth. Klei is one hell of developer, they can do no wrong right now. Good for them!
That's exactly what I thought! Skyrim Mage gameplay...minus the fun
I really liked the Shipyard and Bridge sections as well, thought those were super fun.
Trapping a group of 4 in a Time Stop and then hitting them with a Time Blast is seriously a pleasure to watch over and over again. The combat, especially when you've maxed out most of the abilities, is very exhilarating. Love it
I want what you want so badly, but with Nintendo, it's so easy to think they will botch this whole thing up to the point where they'll exit console gaming, and use mobile gaming (a HUGE install base) to push their IP's out and still make a ton of money.
God of War 4 moving to a Norse setting sounds pretty awesome as that universe is ripe with resources for a new God of War series. That artwork we saw looked pretty cool as well, including the Paul Bunyan-esque looking Kratos.
Gears of War 4 reveal trailer is about what I expected to be, which was awesome. I really enjoyed the Ultimate Edition (first Gears of War experience) and even though I have yet to jump into the other titles in the series via backwards compatibility, I&...
As long as the campaign is still an over-the-top, white knuckle experience, I don't really care what the setting is for a Call of Duty game. I don't have enough to invest into it's multiplayer suite like I use to, but I've always enjoyed the completely absurd campaigns (with the exception of Ghosts). If Call of Duty is in fact going full-on sci-fi, and if there's any truth to the rumor about Battlefield 5 going back to World War 1, where does that leave those who prefer mo...
LMAO! Seriously, I seen that little button on the youtube player and was like "what is this thing?", so I clicked it and Snoopavision came on, HILARIOUS!
This may be the fastest game I've every played. I'm sure there are others that rival it or are faster, but in my experience with games, this one is insanely intense. No reloading and auto-sprint engaged = high-octane running and gunning. TDM is standard fare, but Warpath is fricking fun and actually requires a fair amount of strategy in order to win. I don't know if there will be other modes that'll require the same level of teamwork, but from what I've played, there will ...
I'm not going to lie, when I was playing this, I thought maybe someone slipped something into my drink. That whole "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" area was a WTF moment at first.
I was completely turned off by the RE6 demo when it first launched on PS3/XB360 years back, and I never even played the game. I decided to pick this up to give it a fair shake, and so far, Leon's story has been OK. Hoping the other stories are good as well. Love me some Mercenaries mode though!
The more I hear about PS4K, the more I'm intrigued by it, but Sony has to tread very carefully here. The plus side about console gaming is it's simplicity compared to PC gaming (maintaining and upgrading gear sucks). I understand these consoles are becoming obsolete much quicker compared to last gen, but I hope Sony (and Microsoft should they do the same thing) don't take advantage of console gamers by putting out a new version of the console every 2-3 years without some sort of u...
With the sensational reviews this game got and the large fanbase, if there is a sequel sitting on a shelf, I'll see your "WTH?" and raise you a "WTF?" Hopefully this remastered sold well enough to indicate to the publisher that it would be financially wise to move forward with it!
