It's just more confirmation that SoT was launched early. IMO, they should have waited until the bugs were out and the first three DLC packages were ready. The reception would have been a lot better and the delay less inconvenient for most people.
Hopefully this gets sorted quickly, but I'm glad they removed the update in the meantime.
To add to what Neo and Gumby said, the only option these individuals had before was to have someone custom-build a controller for them. How much does a bespoke controller cost?
They did the same thing with the 1X last year before E3.
The fact that it's modular means that any particular need the individual may have can be met simply by choosing the right module, and new modules can be made to improve accessibility over time. Super smart design, and I'm glad MS chose to work with so many organizations and end users to get things right!
Agreed. Mojang doesn't seem to have any problems adding new content to Minecraft, it's just taken them forever to get all the different versions aligned into one working version instead. Now that priorities are taken care of though I expect more content updates to follow. A couple additions I'd really like to see:
-Vertical slab placement and possibly "mini blocks" (where 8 mini's would form one regular block).
-A new form of redstone t...
As of January 2018, over 144 million copies had been sold across all platforms, making it the second best-selling video game of all time behind Tetris.

S&B could definitely use a story. Limited land based exploration would be cool too; maybe like 20%?
"when they saw that Sea of Thieves was DOA"
SoT hasn't even started yet (which is bad in its' own right, but another topic altogether). SoT is already a commercial success for Rare and their continued development support will grow the game over time. Even if people are bored with it now, when the first three DLC's wrap up there will be good reason to come back and see how it plays. Matter of fact, with its' DLC program SoT can adapt to anything ...
@ Alucard
I am smart. I did the research, made my post with a link to the video, asked for video evidence to the contrary, and was backed up by the admins when they updated the article to include the link I provided yesterday. I'm not the one in denial here.
@ IamTylerDurden
LOL, what? The Admins say the article, "made statements aimed to rile up Fanboys without specifics" and you are still ignoring the video in favor o...
Why talk about one liners, when the whole game was one big joke? RE 4's signature was to remove everything that made the series what it was, and set up for the train wreck of sequels that follows.
Leon's quest to save the President's daughter from a parasite? Seriously stupid. STARS elite forces who can't dodge a thrown projectile? Stupid. Hardly any meaningful puzzles but tons of Hollywood action? Stupid. Hell even the movies were better than anything...
Also:
-Lawbreakers was competing with games like Fortnite and PUBG. SoT has no competition.
-I can't find any metrics in the article which show evidence of "losing players", or even when I looked online.
To me, people watching the game on Twitch isn't a solid metric for player counts declining on this game. It assumes too much. Anyone interested now knows what to expect from watching the Beta, and can rent it for $10 via Game...
Araragifeels, try reading past the headline:
"Unfortunately we have to report that Shenmue III has been delayed, and it WILL NOW RELEASE in 2019 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4."
Notice it says Xbox One? Who is agreeing with you, anyways?
Jarheads, LOL!
LOL, Game Pass doesn't sell you games at all...
@ Darthv72
MS will have two iterations released on day one though because when the "2X" launches, the 1X will become the base model. When the "3X" comes out the "2X" will become the base model, and again there will be two iterations in play.
Stop thinking about mid-gens like PS4/PS4 Pro. It's not the same concept because the PS4 Pro will not play PS5 games like the 1X will play "2X". If Sony sticks with the m...
@ dark Voyager
"I’ve watched previews and plenty of streams and there’s lots of issues. Bugs, framerate drops, bad animations, etc."
I ask you to show me a video with framerate issues, which you say you've seen, and you link an article instead? LOL!!! Put it this way: If I were to link an article about MS making more games you'd say, "It's not proof they're making more games, show me the games." Show me the gameplay v...
Wake up! The article is about abandoning generations like MS is already doing with the 1X (IE, not mid-gen), unlike Sony's mid-gen "upgrade" which won't play PS5 games. The ignorance around here is truly astonishing...
Yet Sea of Thieves has free content updates and State of Decay 2 is patching bugs and improving performance at no cost (which they should be doing).
Nobody's paying for anything extra in either game. Seriously, do you actually believe the stuff you post?
@ Mr Pumblechook
I'm not the one injecting SoT into the conversation. I'm responding to someone else who did because I disagree with them. If you noticed though, I did agree with RpgSama about adding a story in lieu of MP only in my second post, which was on topic. And I criticized Rare twice in my OP (which cheerleaders don't do).
@ RpgSama
You're right about Destiny 2, and Rare could end up there if their DLC isn'...
