What gaas approach????
Y'all commenting things that don't exist yet.
NO gaas game has released yet and he's been CEO for 4 years already.
So stop the narrative that he only want Gaas games when that's not true.
He hasn't done anything special as head of PS Studios.
2023 has been a drought year. All the 1st party titles that were released between 2020-2022 were probably already being worked on before he arrived in this position.
So 2023 should have been an important year but nothing came out so far.
The problem is that all the veteran PS execs are gone now. So who will replace him??
Shuhei Yoshida is happy working with indies and Hermen Hulst isn't exactly a world class CEO either.
People really complain about a face? Just play the game goddamnit
Some Xbox fanboy got mad that MS plans leaked I guess
He's a PR guy, not a great leader.
PS and Nintendo leaders rarely give interviews, they're focused on delivering. He's focused on his blabla
Mobile gaming is what Mcdonald's is to the gastronomy industry
They care because rn the only thing keeping MS from dominating consoles is Sony.
Stop being delusional
Anyone remembers how cloud was supposed to make Xbox One 10x more powerful than PS4?
Tha magic sauce? 😂
Look how it turned out 10 years later
it's more complicated than that, those are 12 months old numbers.
They said they expected 35/65 by april 2023
Some analyst said that currently it's 45/55 for new sales (not installed base)
It says nowhere that gamepass is profitable
That's ridiculous because PS has more paying subscribers than Xbox. So whatever Gamepass makes, PS+ should make more
Many elements are as recent as 6 months ago. Stop lying
Phil is a pathological liar first of all.
NEVER ever believe what he says.
And secondly, what did y'all exepect him to say "oh damn, our plans leaked, we're doooomed"
Obviously he'd try to de-escalate and make it seem like it'ds no big deal
Xbox fans keep repeating this and it's cringe.
Right now the ONLY thing keeping MS from dominating the gaming space is Sony (after their own incompetence).
So for them to say that, it's only a way to deflect from their failure to compete with Sony for over 20 years now.
Well GP only cost MS money and brings little in return.
I guess it does prevent *some* people from jumping to PS. But it doesn't really attract PS people to Xbox either.
That's the main problem.
I'm pretty sure at least 80% of GP's current subscribers already owned an Xbox before.
Gamepass' business model was flawed from the very beginning because costs don't decrease when the subscriber base increases. It's the opposite.
Review embargos should disappear FOREVER first of all
Many people changed their lifestyle during covid. Many people left big cities for smaller cities. So 100% remote is essential in that case.
thanks for creating more electronic waste lmaoo
That's the point.
I'm a PS fan but 2024 is 3 months away! Why do we still ignore their 2024 lineup? They need to move faster.
