Xbox sales are supposed to be increasing rn. Not decreasing. Especially when their biggest game got recently released

"Xbox One was outselling Xbox 360 at this point."
OUCH
That means that the X/S are the slowest selling MS consoles ever after the original Xbox?

Damn UK used to be Xbox's biggest market outside the US

A whole article based on a reddit post and now before-after comparison to prove that it was down sized? What kind of "journalism" is that? I don't support Xbox but don't make useless articles like that

Bungie was not a dumb move. It will be an important asset for Sony in the future.
The dumb move was overpaying for it. They should've negociated more wisely and never spent more than $1.5B for it.

Eh????
Did you drop out of school or what?????
If you only use a 0-100 scale, it means you can only report growth from 0 to 2 (100% growth means doubling your number).
What if you grew 3x or 6x ???? You'll need to use 400% or 700% to be able to say that.
It's not marketing, it's maths..

It's a year on year comparison. Meaning that you're comparing september 2023 to september 2022, not against august 2023.
Remember that last year, PS5 shortages were terrible until the last quarter when Sony released a lot of GoW bundles. Now that the shortages are over, every month of 2023 is gonna see huge growths compared to the same month of 2022
Still, it's impressive because both Xbox and Nintendo have seen decreasing sales this year.

You need to realize that MANY of those 117M now own a PS5.
So it's not cumulative, you cannot add the PS5 units sold to those 117M because one person can have both console but only one PS+ sub.
Not everyone plays online anyway.
That's why neither MS nor Nintendo have a 80% subscription rate either.

It's Europe. PS is the most dominant platform in Europe. Even Nintendo cannot compete.
And foobtall is an extremely popular sport in europe. So of course FC 24 would beat Starfield which is mostly Xbox/PC (or not as popular platforms as PS).

Speak for yourself.

because a side by side comparison would've been like admitting "yeah our PS5 was too big"

Your phone can definitely NOT stream games for that long. Pls stop lying.
It will even overheat while doing so.
That's because phones don't like intensive usage.

867d ago 3 agree5 disagreeView comment

That's why all these people saying "just buy a gamepad for your phone" were wrong.
Your phone's battery will die very quick and your phone will overheat (even if it's just streaming the game) while this can last longer than Switch.
