Apologises everyone about #TheLastOfUs Release Date! #MissPrint #OverEagerStaffMember We will update you when we get an official date sorry!
Really surprised, and pleased, to see the positive reception this game has received! It's a corker.
It just come off as lazy. People continue to use Bioshock as an example of great storytelling as if it's never been told before, and it's simply not.
Being a spiritual successor doesn't give the writer a free pass to do what they've done before. Short of the art style, it wasn't very ambitious at all. It wasn't BAD, just not very original or inspired, and being a fan of his previous games - was bitterly disappointed is all.
My absolute second most favorite PC game ever (behind Deus Ex) This looks absolutely stunning!
I would love a System Shock 3, but only if it were to be made by the same team as SS2, which I know is an impossibility. I remember being bitterly disappointed with Bioshock when it was released on account of the story being a direct ripoff of System Shock 2, only padded out for a large majority of the game and executed far worse.
In System Shock 2, the whole concep...
Was there any doubt?
I think the first sentence is supposed to read:
Batman: Arkham Origins *divided* fans of the video game franchise.
(Not decided)
But yeah, I'm a big fan of the Arkham franchise, and although I've yet to play Origins - I heard it's a very solid effort that, although plays it safe, tells a good story and definitely worth playing.
It's stupid, over the top, exaggerated, well produced, dumb fun. Pure escapism and exactly what the point of video games has always been. I love it!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: shooting Nazi's in Wolfenstein: The New Order feels somewhat fresh in an industry currently overpopulated with zombies and generic marine men.
"We need a replacement for Nazis that won’t cause political issue"
...and here we go. What a crazy world we live in when people are only now starting to see issue some 70 years after the fact? Everything offends someone nowadays, even if it happened over ...
"According to the PSN store listing, Watch Dogs will require about 20.4 GB of space on the hard disk."
There.
Jesus Christ, is N4G the breeding ground for completely naive and ignorant idiots? It's getting very old hearing people bitch about the graphics of this game. It's a cross-gen title, NOT next gen. Now whether or not you think it looks good is a matter of opinion. Personally, I think visually, it's rather nice. But I can't help but feel people are severely over-exaggerating how 'bad' it is.
Once again, this is a cross-gen title. It was never going to bl...
@Cobra951
Nothing looks 'next gen' because we're not even a year into it. I never ceased to be amazed by people who expect so much in such a short space of time. We're still seeing many cross-gen games (Wolfenstein being one of them...and Watch_Dogs) Until developers start making games exclusively for next gen (now current gen) systems, we're not going to see a great deal of difference in visual fidelity. That's just how it is. Developers who choose to...
This game really tickles my asshole. Cannot wait!
What you, and most others, seem to forget is that Watch_Dogs is a cross gen game. Arkham Knight is exclusively for next gen consoles (and PC). Of course it will look better.
Maybe they thought if you were stupid enough to buy an Xbox One, they'd get away with charging more, too.
...sorry. I await the impending flood of disagrees from overly sensitive fanboys. But in all seriousness, Bethesda/Microsoft dropped the ball. It'll most likely be addressed before the day is out. Sucks though. I agree with @MikeLarry. It's just easier to go with retail still.
Games, like anything, are only worth as much as you get out of it. Stupid question really.
Ok, we get it. You're not going to buy the game and you don't like the visuals. There, you've been acknowledged. Happy now? Have a gold star! :)
This game looks really fun and clearly doesn't take itself too seriously! Nice to see some colour in a modern game.
... and to think, killing Nazi's seems somewhat fresh by todays standards. I do want to get round to playing this at some point.
Don't understand the hate. The game looks excellent for a cross-gen title! And also, get this... it looks *gasp* FUN!
It would be a very strange choice...
