This is a good ol' fashioned shooter that's an absolute blast to play. What more could you want?

Why are people so determined to reach the level of quality found in the legendary E3 demo. It doesn't change the fact the game itself is just not all that fun. :/

Tomb raiding, something that was completely optional in the TR'13 reboot would be a nice place to start. It's something you exclusively promise in the title, but just wasn't explored in the game itself. I want to see more of an emphasis on puzzling and platforming, creative level design, less of a focus on killing, more animals, and swimming. Seriously, the latter of which was desperately missed in my opinion. Who can forget Tomb Raider 2's 40 Fathoms level? Starting off stuck...

I love how active and crazy the backgrounds are in this remix. It's just much more, I don't know - out there. The animations are great. This HD fan project looks great too, and is obviously going for a more faithful remaster. I'd love to get my hands on it!
It's all well and good having the ability to mod it and make it look better than the infamous E3 demonstration video - but if the game itself is a chore to play and just not worth your time, it's a moot point.
Even if the games visuals hadn't have been downgraded, it would have still been a lackluster game. People are focusing too much on the visuals. We should be more upset at just how bland and unexciting the actual game is.
One of the greatest all time point and click games ever made. The series fell off a bit with Sleeping Dragon and Angel of Death, but the first one, second one, and the most recent Broken Sword outing have all been classic!

Oh I love elephants as much as anyone else, if not more, but it all seems to come across as more of a gimmick.
Why the large focus on elephants in this game? I'm assuming there will be a larger variety of animals than Far Cry 3, but it seems that elephants are the primary focus.
I think a lot of it is because this is a high profile game, and is targetting a much larger demographic, when in reality it's only going to appeal to a small part of it.
People (sadly) now associate the franchise more with the second film, Aliens, which of course features a lot of high octane action. So this in comparison seems a bit lacking. My biggest concern with it, like a lot of other people, is just how they intend to make it last 15(+?) hours when the gameplay is ...
Character customization isn't exactly the top priority when it comes to content for this game. Especially in it's Alpha state.
Very impressive tech for a fan project, but I feel South Park should strictly stay to 2D.
