So sad, and such a tragic way to go, too.

Rest in piece, Mr. Williams!

The first shocking game I remember is a very obscure game on the Megadrive/Genesis called "Chakan: The Forever Man" released back in '92. It is a very dark, Gothic, 2D side scroller with quite an emphasis on a macabre and almost horror vibe.

Having come off the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Brothers - it was just a very jarring and surprising change. I didn't realize games could be this dark and even scary.

I'd suggest ever...

Sunset Overdrive looks really fun! When it comes down to it, that's all you can ask for.

Wasn't this already known several days ago?

If it's just the trailer you're showing off - then you may want to rename the article 'Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Announcement Trailer' or something.

But back on topic - who even asked for this? It's not a BAD game by any means, just... unnecessary.

Ryse isn't exactly a spectacular game to begin with. Who cares if it looks good?

Great looking, but mediocre game.

Bunch of babies need to have their hands held while playing a game. Limited saves? Rare ammo finds? Fixed camera angles? suck it up. Christ almighty.

What this author suggests, that is, updating the controls and aiming, among other things - would require Capcom to rebuild the game from the ground up. They've already stated they have a new analog control layout that will allow you to move whichever way you push the stick. That's about the most accessible you can make t...

I think there's a lot of confusion over the term 'remake' and that is what's causing a lot of arguments here. Resident Evil (GameCube) was a remake. Built from the ground up, new engine, fully recreated from scratched. Nothing from the original version was used (technically speaking) they even went to the trouble of rearranging some areas, puzzles, and even included some brand new sequences and levels that were absent from the original - making it feel like a fresh experience ...

Am I the only one who hates the term "triple A"

I'll be the first to say Capcom are lazy, but I don't think it's anything to do with the technical side of things - it's simply due to the fact that Resident Evil is a game that doesn't need to be 60 frames per second. The pre-rendered backgrounds and polygonal models were all designed to be run at 30fps. Anyone who has played this game before will know that it would have absolutely NO benefit to running at a higher framerate. If anything, it'd screw things up. It feel...

What really 'grinds my gears' is when people use the phrase 'Ya know what really grinds me gears...'

Why is this only NOW getting posted? It's the same video that was on practically every journalist site when they announced the Remake. In fact, it's the video ANNOUNCING the Remake.

Who approved this and why are they allowed to live?

Jeez.

Why would you want to limit people to such a great game by having exclusive content?

Wow, you're quick.

Yeah, GTA 5 is coming to PC, over a year later. Hardly something to brag about.

It's Capcom. Are you really THAT surprised?

Despite peoples moaning and the inevitable wave of hate - people will still buy it.

Who asked for a remaster of the remake?

I'd personally like Capcom to finally realize there's probably going to be more excitement over this re-re-release than any potential action explosion fest Resident Evil 7 and come to the conclusion that fans (what's left of them) want traditional survival horror.

I hope more people play it and that it shows Capcom (once again) that we want survival horror and now boring generic old action games.

I hate Capcom and their business practice, but you can't deny the magic of Resident Evil (the original) The GameCube version STILL looks excellent, and easily marks up as one of the best survival horror games to have ever been released.

I'm also getting very tired of the sheer amount of remakes/remasters we're seeing. It's getting out of hand. That being said, this is one of my personal all-time favorites, and it'll be nice not to have to dust off the Gam...

I believe with the ports of games like Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, and now Bioshock - that developers are missing the point, and by extension, the entire ethos of mobile gaming. So with that said, I must disagree with the question this article puts forward.

Bioshock isn't exactly the kind of game designed to pick up for 10 minutes or so at a time. A mobile platform, unless it's a dedicated device like the PlayStation Vita, should stick to games that suit the devices ...
