Disagree. You have movies that are so bad they're good. Be it through the acting or writing, yet you still enjoy watching them for the humour it brings. The Room is a great example of this. Videogames can be the same way. Deadly Premonition is a game where everything is wrong. All it's ingredients suck. Graphics, animation, controls, writing, music, voice acting, it's all shockingly bad. But yet, it's still enjoyable to play - simply to experience how bad it is.
Am I the only one who thinks the sheer volume of threads regarding resolutions, framerates, comparisons to other platforms, and leaked 'reviews' will overshadow the actual game itself? Our standards have been bought down to a set of statistics and numbers, as if we're unable to simply enjoy a game for what it is.
Personally, I think the game looks fantastic! Visually speaking anyway.
The story description is this 'review' is very vague and doesn't seem to expand on anything outside of what we already know. The screen shots in the review seem to be from the 360 version of the game. I'm guessing this because I doubt people have found a way to hack and patch Xbox One games to work on their systems. We all know the 360 is renown for piracy.
This no name site might have a lot of Facebook likes, but that doesn't mean shit. They have no real ...
I don't know dude, I've seen quite a bit of footage of this game, and it looks abysmal. Glad you enjoyed it though!
Looks fun, but the AI is shocking.
Even though this is based off the leaked copy of the game, there's no way someone could have experienced all this game has to offer. It's more a first impression from an obscure site with no reputation, looking for hits.
...wow, that's a first.
Ah got to love replies like this, from people who assume that if I have an opinion towards Microsoft that is even remotely negative then I must have never used it. Whether you like it or not, Kinect is a failed device that they tried to push, despite an overwhelmingly large majority of their target demographic not being in favour of it being forced upon them. So stay calm and carry on defending your lovely Kinect. I hope you enjoy your unresponsive fighting games, annual Just Dance installmen...
Of all the games in the Dead Space franchise, why would someone demonstrate their skill by recreating something from Dead Space 3? Impressive though!
Let's face it, 99% of Kinect games are downright shit, and until we get some major players backing it and in support of it 100%, it'll always be a device reduced to nothing but a tool to spit out atrocious shovelware. They all seem to lack substance and offer nothing but to cater to the novelty of having something that 'sees' you while you play. If this sounds appealing to you, then fantastic! The games have no real depth and if given the ability to use a traditional controlle...
Duke Nukem 3D and Duke Nukem: A Time To Kill (on PS1) were fantastic!
DICE really cannot optimize their games worth a shit. This has been going on ever since the series started. It's nice to see that people are FINALLY starting to get tired of it.
I'm curious to see how Wolfenstein turns out. It's sad to say it, but a return to shooting Nazi's feels somewhat fresh by todays standards. Count me in!
I'm not one to preach political correctness, and quite frankly, believe people need to get over themselves and stop being so sensitive - but the fact that this studio is able to release another game after the absolute abortion that was Duke Nukem Forever is what I find offensive.
I still say all these radical changes in the gameplay, actors and such are to instill a sense of hate in the gamers/audience. A theme which lies central in MGS5. Seems weird, but let's face it, we're dealing with Kojima here. We all know deep down that the game will be phenomenal.
I, like others, question the need to remove David Harter (and feel there's still something we're missing here) but the fact remains it's way too premature to write off Sutherland's performance as we only heard him say one or two lines. The guy is an accomplished actor and performer, so I have no doubt his work in MGS5 will be equally as solid (Excuse the pun)
Kinect JUST got relegated to a bloatware fueled add-on accessory with shitty support, powering shockingly bad games that no one truly wanted in the first place. As if we didn't know this already. What happened to Kinect being an integral part of the Xbox One experience, and that without Kinect, there was no Xbox One? Shove it up your arse, Microsoft. What about the people who gladly spent $500, knowing they didn't really want or need the Kinect, who now realize they could have got a K...
Fair enough, but it's not the same console, nor is it the whole series.
The game was shocking.
