Yeah I loved those games on the GBA. I do wish they would start from the beginning of Dragon Ball though and go through everything instead of always doing the Saiyan and Frieza saga over and over.
I hope it's some of the people who turned around and tried to scalp them on ebay. That way they have to give that money back.
The real question is, why didn't they do it from the start and what the heck has Retro been doing for the past 5 years? They haven't put out a game since Tropical Freeze on Wii U in 2014.
And people thought we were actually going to get this game that we saw nothing of this year lol.
@jakiah66 yeah well it isn't much like any $500 piece of hardware. It did increase their sales likely due to people who already owned an Xbox upgrading but it wasn't THAT big an increase. Had they not released it they would be doing much worse.
I mean is it? The gaming market was nowhere near the size it is now back when the NES and SNES sold that much.
Lol the Xbox One only sold 10 million in a year in it's first year. That's never happening again. They'll be lucky to do 5 million worldwide in 2019.
Difference is they don't have a Kinect device this time that is going to cause their sales to soar. Plus they don't have the Europe presence they add last time. They might reach 50 million by the time it's done selling.
It's actually right around where I expected. This is a machine that has only been selling around 7-8 million a year worldwide. It hasn't been doing anywhere near the PS4 numbers. Idk why there were people a year ago who were saying it was at 40+ million. The US is their biggest market and it has only been selling a few million here a year. It's dead in pretty much all of mainland Europe and Japan. The UK is good for them but that market as a whole isn't huge as game consoles t...
They've already said post launch game content will be free actually.
@Necrum I don't know what you are trying to get at but it's quite laughable. People who get so triggered by a title without bothering to see the context behind it are pathetic. It's by Tim Rogers who actually does a lot of great content.
Again someone else who sees a title and comments without knowing the context about it.
Maybe watch the video before you comment. It's not what you think.
I didn't say it matters to them I'm just saying that sales will be very weak this year if they don't drop the price. I know they personally are just trying to make as much money on it as they can right now. It's why they didn't run hardly any deals during the Holidays except the $200 Spider-Man bundle that really they didn't do a lot of stock of.
Probably quite high. We know it did 5 million worldwide in just the first week. It's probably over 8-9 million by now.
This generation yes. Overall though it was far from the top as it sat behind a ton of Halo Games, Pokemon, and another Super Smash Bros. Ultimate beat all of them. It's now the leader all time.
Smash Bros. sold 3.6 million in December in the US and that isn't counting digital sales.
Smash did over 5 million in the first week worldwide. It did 3.6 million in the US in the first month not counting digital sales. It will pass Spider-Man worldwide quickly if it hasn't already. It already outsold Spider-Man US sales to date in just one month and again that isn't counting digital sales for Smash while it is for Spider-Man.
Globally yeah PS4 was still the best but I don't see that happening in 2019 if a price drop doesn't happen. US sales are going to drop a ton if they don't get the price on them down soon.
RE7 came out on a Tuesday in the UK while RE2 came out on a Friday. It had less days tracked so that's probably why sales are lower.
