I'm not skipping it but Microsoft will get no money from me for the game. I'll play it with Game Pass that I get for free with Microsoft Rewards. Had they done a physical release they would've gotten me to buy a retail copy. With it being 7 hours or shorter there is no reason for me to spend anything on this digitally.
The second game actually sold more than the first game launch aligned. Also add in the fact that the first game was ported to another console 1 year after release while the second game wasn't until now. Plenty of people asked for a PS5 version of this too. In fact many people expected it would get a PS5 version back in 2020 and held off buying it until it did.
Jan: TLOU2 Remastered
Feb: Helldivers 2, FF7 Rebirth (yes I know it isn't first-party)
March: Rise of the Ronin
April: MLB The Show
Hopefully Sony has plenty for the rest of the year but that's a good start
Can't believe they still didn't give it a date. We'll see if it makes 2024. The combat animations look stiff and not fluid at all. They need to fix that
When I heard the rumors I was hoping it would be story DLC. This is still good for free but yeah more story was really what I wanted. This seems more focused on gameplay
Great another Xbox game we won't get for 5-6 years joining the ranks of Fable, OD, Everwild, Hellblade 2, etc. Stop announcing games that are years and years away
Yeah not getting my click. They are just trying to get traffic for negativity. Nothing wrong with this PS5 version and I can't wait to get it.
Exactly. Ignorant trolls. Naughty Dog has multiple teams now including Neil's team which is working on their next BIG game
@Stark that is wrong Helldivers 2 is first-party. It is published by PlayStation and they own the IP. Them not owning the studio doesn't change that. Just like Returnal, Sackboy, etc were all first party. Sony's first party games for 2024 right now look like this:
TLOU 2 Remastered
Helldivers 2
Stellar Blade
Rise of the Ronin
Concord
That's everything we know Sony is publishing next year as of now..
Are you dumb? Another generation? Dude it's only been 3 years since TLOU2 released. Have you looked around the industry and seen how long it takes most studios to put out a new game? Horizon: FW took 5 years. GOW Ragnarok took almost 5 years. Those were sequels. At the least Naughty Dog deserves 4-5 years but if they are making a new IP it could take a bit longer. Them having a smaller team put out this remaster doesn't take away from what Neil's team is making. I'm just amaze...
There is no reason to build a defense for this b/c there is nothing wrong with it. Naughty Dog had a smaller team do this while their main team is working on their new game. The people acting like ignorant children thinking all of their focus was on this remaster don't know how game dev works. It's been just over 3 years since their last major game and you will get their next one in time. Most studios aren't putting out new games 3 years later. GOW Ragnarok took over 4 years, Hori...
I like them so please Spider-Man games keep including them. Thanks!
Duh because the game sucks at a design level. Making a terrible game run at 60fps doesn't make it a better game magically.
Same people who did all those Outbreak games that were supposed to be like classic RE but were really terrible. I don't trust this to be good
I would say they have a pretty even amount of games that leave and join the service each month. 20+ games just dropped onto the service on Tuesday and there will likely be a similar amount joining next month.
Exactly. People acting like these games need to be topping the most played charts to be relevant. All that matters is enough people are playing that you can find a match to play when you want. You can still do that on F13 so this game could go that route too if people dig it
@anast So you're only looking at PC? I play it all the time on PS still and I'm always finding matches and new people. Pretty sure it was in the top selling ps4 games in July too once again. It may not have 100,000 people playing but who the hell cares. Point is you can always find people to play with 6 years later and that's all that matters
I mean Friday the 13th still has a pretty good player count even 6 years later and despite not getting new content.
Ikr. Never have been able to stand Greenberg
Well our review mostly focused on what was new but I have to grade it as if someone is buying the Switch 2 version brand new as well and taking the game as a whole. Yes, with things like Pokemon Scarlet and Violet getting free upgrades that made a HUGE difference I do agree that it makes no sense why essentially the same thing wasn't done here as it's just a visual/performance boost plus a silly phone feature. Thanks for your comment and sharing your opinion on the review. I appreciat...
