This crap is too graphics heavy. It lacks the simplicity of what the XMB has achieved. The XMB's central design is that it's universal across nearly all Sony products.

Here's a novel idea; Give up on Diablo 3.
It's the same cycle every 4-6 months.
1) Diablo information come out. Game play and or screen shos.
2) Fans read it and complain about this or that. Totally nit picking.
3) The nit picking continues until Blizzard says something on it or changes it.

Can anyone else remember a significant time when the PSN was down or any other major problems in the PS3s history? No? you mean 4 years of smooth operation? none?! Really? a problem that lasted 24 hours in 4 years?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if many people were like me on Monday, I was at work or asleep the entire time this problem was happening. are not most of the PS3 owners employed adults? Yeah it affected 33 million consoles, but it probaly only affected 3...

Nay good people. We have forgotten that the Wii didn't stand much of a chance when kids grow up faster than ever before. The Wii has done a lot, but it's never done much else aside from what nintendo has done for it and it shows.
They marketed the thing to everyone and everyone is content with a handful of games that are similar to the other handful of games you can get. There are some turdblossoms, but other than that, the Wii is a pile of dung.

When 7/13 games made in the last two years make up a list spanning 23 years, I find only two conclusions can be drawn.
1) Gaming for Fumitsu has been the best ever the last three years and their reviews are reflecting that
2) Fumaitsu editors and reviewers are slipping and becoming less critical of games.
I'm leaning towards point two which is worrying and does more or less reflect a growing problem with review journalism in gaming.
I was having a problem with this since the 10th when the PSN was undergoing maintenance. And then there was added strain from people playing COD4 and getting trophies. It's network related and you just have to keep retrying and eventually your trophy data will upload to the servers.

Exactly how many people have a 360 hooked into a PC monitor for this to be quite the demanded feature? It doesn't seem to have much practicality when it comes to gaming since most games have been set to 720p/1080i anyways. Do they have some magical programming to allow for fullscreen upscaling?

I think this is a great idea. It's going to introduce people into gaming like the Wii did and then those people will go one of two ways: On to a 360 or PS3 or not bother with gaming anymore. Thanks for being a gateway console Apple.
