My opinion is that PlayStation is a global juggernaut and with the massive popularity of the PS4 the PS5 will ride in on a wave to be the most popular console again.
It's been almost 2 years and the game still charts in the top 20 in the UK on a regular basis.
Plus they constantly keep having free updates. And good updates, cars tracks modes you name it. It's probably been the best supported game this generation.
The full investor briefing is over 100 pages, It's Sony's numbers for Sony products and vgchartz and other sources for comparisons.
The briefing is great it's filled with tons of great information, I hope there will be more articles based on it. One of the things I found interesting is that Sony software is selling 15-20% of the software sold on PS4. That's insanely high. This is very much the Hideo Kojima saga of him basically being forced out of Konami having most of his life's work taken from him. Then the people who supported him provided him what he needed to form a stud...
So... we should applaud Microsoft for taking a game that in the rest of the world is on all the devices and paying to keep it only on xbox in the west?
"However it would be very bad for Microsoft if they had the least powerful system especially after Phil made claims to never losing the power advantage."
That only gives Sony more reason to one up them. It'll be quite the story if Microsoft's own hubris is their own undoing. (again)
