2 player local coop only. What were they thinking?!
I have this on the iPhone and it's a great game if I want to kill a few minutes. Having said that I could never see myself switching on my 360 to ever have a go.

Game performance is much more important than a few less seconds in a load screen.

Well, what ever nominal figure we speculate on at the moment should really depend on the actual release date of these consoles.
The bigger the better I guess. I see the one of the better options being the route PS3 did this Gen with non proprietary upgradable HD...
Pretty certain I'm getting this one. In a borderlands sort of way I don't know how fun it would be in 1 player but 4 player coop is where its at for me and my crew.
Thats what I dont get. If you're a hardcore gamer you would likely already have both consoles and probably a PC to boot too - furthermore play them all.
The amount of emotionally immature, bias because I only have 1 of the console/system type comments I see brought into N4G never ceases to surprise me.

Annus thats what I do mate. I'v been replaying Morrowind with a 360 pad on PC for petes sake and its awesome but I seriously hate the f@#k around setting up games sometimes. Newer games shouldn't be excused. By now, they should all have Plug and play support like Valve do.

Ill get it on PC only if it supports controllers. Otherwise Im going to wait to see which is better out of PS3 or XBOX. My Gut says XBOX at this stage but Oblivion was substantially nicer on PS3.

What you say isn't exactly correct. GTA4 had cheats as do many other MS games. You were able to activate cheats in GTA4 but it stopped achievements.
That's true. I play Forza Motorsport most days. I only have 110 achievement points but am in the top 1000 (1%) for lap times. On paper I look crap but it's likely I'll hand you your ass online.
Iv got a friend who play games for achievements and brag rights and it's sad as he isn't honing his skills.
Sometimes it's good when the achievement provides a purposeful skilled challenge but what gets me is people just grinding a game they don't dig a bunc...
That's it! Get some friends and play with them. I don't dig hearing pre pubescent American boys constantly squealing into the mic. Coop games are where it's a for me these days anyway. Iv been playing death deathmatches online since quake 1 and its stale.
Being a big GTA fan I always took this game for a joke... But After just playing and finishing Saints 2 last month, after all this time, I can definately say this next game is on my hit list. The whole game was coop with absolutely no watered down features from Solo mode - Well Done to these guys...Big respects! There's alot of customization, exploring and fun to be had!
I hope they can squeeze 4 player coop for this one but I'll understand if they can't.

Its all about the games for me. Good games and I'm in.
Personally I like alot of cars. Id rather have every model of Nissan Skyline etc available than not. I like being able to mod each car as I please. The more options the better for me. Forza did well with their mods but they should have allowed engine swaps between different brands. Tracks I don't mind so much... 20 or so is enough to hone my skills as long as they are real tracks.
What on earth would be wrong with a first person camera? I'm assuming he didn't mean default... I wouldn't like it as the default camera angle as I like the 3rd person but to have multiply camera angles like Liberty city did would be a easy feature to implement and only add.
Considering most of the GTAs you can already look around without walking in 1st person anyway it's not such a radical idea.
