If I'm not mistaken wasn't the first major year for last gen in 07 with halo, cod, bioshock, ect? The xbox released in 2005 so that's a two year time frame. Thus we should be seeing the new gen stuff holiday 2015/2016?
If this is true it'd be nice to see a version on ps3 or bring the other three to ps4 so as to keep it all ok one console.
any idea of these anniversary maps are on the disc ie local multiplayer or is it all on servers? I hope I actually own the maps lol instead of them going away when the servers shut down.

What is the realistic expected lifespan of the x1 ps4?
I left halo when bungie left, however if this is true it might make me jump back in and buy a xbox1.
A question I have is this. With all the talk of mmoish and 10 years will this be the only disk you'll need for 10 years like pc mmos or will we get a new release every three years like most console games?
This is my sentiment. I've been on a halo kick lately, not playing it but thinking about my memories and watching redvsblue. I grew up in high school and college playing the original trilogy from bungie. Ever since then it just hasn't been the same with the load outs and such. When bungie left I left. Left it to a new generation of gamers. But yes I agree with you, the torch was passed and it kind of makes me sad but I love my memories of the bungie days
Does this mean it won't have a cliffhanger. If they expect this to span ten years I'd think they'd make 1-2 more full games....or is it more mmo where this is the only disk you'll need for the 10 years? I've just wondered about this given the way they talk about the game vs the way console stories have always evolved (ie with 3 different disk stories...halo 1,2,3)

I don't know the guys story so I really can't judge. I'll look soley at the facts.

Xxxsiegez, we've hardly seen a trailer or anything about starwars. I'm not saying its not possible. I just point to mirrors edge because we've had a full trailer, some idea if story in that it's a origin story and open world, and it was teased in BF4.

After seeing the release date for Destiny I'm just no longer excited for next gen. That was my only reason thus far for wanting next gen and it's still a year a way. I really am no longer excited, sucks.

I just managed to pick one up for $300. Best buy had a $50 savings and then with crap I had laying around the house and some money magic managed another $50 off without touching my main money supply. I wasn't ready for a next-gen system yet but I couldn't pass it up.
