But no ps4 slim has been announced. That's where there seems to be a missing link in this console puzzle.
I still don't understand Neo. It sounds like it's supposed to be a competitor to the Xbox slim, a ps4 with 4K.
However I've also heard reports its meant to compete with project Scorpio which would seem to make it a completely new console generation?
Question.
Since our actions effect the overall universe. It updates based our actions. Is this a game we need to get in on from the start? Or is it better to wait and let the dust settle like some games?
Can anyone answer a question?
I know this game isn't your normal story driven game but does it have some kind of objectives. Ie get this to power ship, get this to go to deep space, find this thing for this xp? I guess some kind of direction so I'm no totally wondering? some structure?
Is it possible to limit it to the original 150ish poke? It'd be fun to play but I don't really want to get into the 700+ just the original poke...?
Blimps and airplanes were used in ww1.
Please for the love of all things holy be ww2. Ww1 would be neat but ww2 is my bread and butter. I'm literally going to school for it, my thesis is on ww2.
This is my fear. I loved the first one and would love to play rise as well. However if they can't guarantee a continuation of the story then i wonder why I should invest my time. A story is only as good if they can't complete their story arc. It's a cycle, they need to sell well but I question why I should invest if I can't complete my story with additional games.
Is this game worth it? I borrowed it from a friend but is it worth the time/effort?
@eonjay,
Yes that is the problem. It's almost a myth. There is no way you couldn't make a truly realistic game and have if pass the sale factor. No story is 100% accurate.
As a graduate student in history I'll take you on ;)
First you say we shouldn't glorify ww1 and ww2. What do you mean by this? We shouldn't glorify any war really, so then maybe COD shouldn't exist at all. There is also a way to honor those in those struggles. We see this all the time in media. I think Steven spielburg and tom hanks have done a great job of honoring those who fought during ww2. So there is a difference between glorifying and honoring.
...
Just give me ww2 with modern next gen graphics and I'll be happy.
Played New Vegas a few years back, never played Fallout 3.
This was going to be my next game puchase but this serious kills the hype for me.
Give me the Prison of Elders gear. I've grown "too old" for pvp these days, I much prefer destiny's pve stuff. I just hope the pve gear looks as cool.
What I want to know is if there's any kind if raid armor for the arena. The Egyptian style armor that was showed for the pvp Osiris thing looks nice. It'd be nice if they had something similar for those who don't like pvp.
This isn't a defense, more me still trying to wrap my head around the anger. Was it ever specified/expected that HOW would have a raid or was thus something the community thought?
Does anyone else feel like this is just another raid in a smaller package? ie loot specific. So why the hate?
I see people upset about it not including a raid....
But from what I see it seems like this will be a mix of raid and strike. A strike style in that it only needs 3 people plus raid style because it includes event armor which is probably needed to level up. Until we get more details it feels like a compromise for those who can't find 6 players. A mix.
What I wonder is the free dlc aspect. While I applaud it, if the developer isn't gaining anything from this (i.e. revenue) what's the incentive to keep this game alive long term?
