Usually I am a graphic whore. There, I've admited. But I did decide to make a exception for Final Fantasy XIV and boy, am I glad I did it! I am having an obscene amount of fun with it (more than I had this whole generation with any other game). The game is just awesome in every respect! To avoid it just because it doesn't look as good on the ps3 as it does on pc is downright criminal to me. Criminal! lol
Anyway, I'll update it eventually to the ps4 version, but untill than...

As of right now, I think so, yes. But this is no cause of concern or criticism: it should be a compliment. Sony had a 10 years plan for ps3, and they do have a huge install base on this platform, so the way they keep supporting their ps3 users ever on the brink of a new generation is commendable. It shows me just how honorable they are with their promisses and just how much respect they have for their supporters.

Resident Evil grew too big, with aliens and global menace and all... I liked it better when it was smaller. A isolated event in one small town. I feel it was more atmospheric when everything was kind of under the rug: one place went to hell and no one knew about it. I'd like to see it rebooted, maybe with a new cast of caracters offering a fresh perspective to same story. It could go kind of the Silent Hill way, with each new game showing the struggles of a new character in a new outbreak...
If Crapcom can promote RE6 as an horror game - as they did every chance they've got before launch - I see no problem whatsoever with them calling The Last of Us a horror game as well. In fact, I think they are more acurate in this statement than in the previously one! lol
Back on topic: at the very least, they are big enough to admit failure. This might be a first step into getting back to their old standards

Dragon's Dogma was awesome. One of my favorites this gen! My only complaint is the lack of difficulty in the ng+ (I've got spoiled by Soul series scalling difficulty on new playthroughs).

Considering how ppl have been talking about videogames as an art expression for years, I find it funny how nobody can acept that, just like with books, tv shows and movies, some games are made with an adult public in mind - a public for which a sex scene is not anyway more shocking than a headshot or a knife kill. It is rated right, so why the hell not have nudity/sex just as well as violence in an adult story? I honestly don't get this mentality and whish ppl would just grow over it.
