A robot game? After Demon's Soul I've became a big fan of yours, FromSoftware, but this time I'll have to say I'll Pass. How about working on that Demon's Soul sequel instead, huh? Huh?
My thoughts, exactly. I was a huge fan of the previous trilogy, so I'm really hoping this one will be just as good, but I'm also really skeptical about it. Its wait and see...
The first oddworld came out on european psn, right? Is is out on US psn? And does anybody knows if it is hd?
I just wish environmental like buildings could be destroyed as well. Imagine the mix that would be just cause 2 plus mercenaries! Would be perfect! On the topic: the laser guided rocklauncher sounds awesome, but I didn't understand what is the dual-jet thrusters thing.
I'm not sure if I would buy a LBP sequel for the following reasons:
- The first game was and still is a blast to play alone or with friends, but as good the user made maps can be they can't be compared to the MM's own maps, which are far and few.
- MM promised that the game would be alive and kicking for a very long time with lots of dlc support from them, but the only dlc support we see are costumes and stickers. What the heck is up with that?! With dlc support I had imagined t...
Me too... (sight). Me too...
I'll get, for sure, RDR and LP2. Thinking on PoP: The Forgotten Sand as my third priority. Good month to be a gamer! =D
I don't really think that this is a matter of console power, but it is a matter of reducing costs and working on a lesser timeframe. If you have the resources to focus entirely on one single platform, the final product will be a much grander game then it would be if you had to divide your stuff. Aside, there's the matter of the media capability. I guess that one of the main priority developers has is to make the same experience in both platforms -- which is not really possible for the media. ...
Sorry for the double posting, but this pistol thing is indeed anoying! Hope they will fix this soon. Bring more balance to the waepons. But for now I'm quite happy already with the spawn and coop skins. Yeah, I'm this easy!
Heroes Skins in coop! Nice! Maybe is time for getting that heroes skin dlc! =]
Although I agree with the boss fighting argument, I completely disagree with all the others - they just don't make any sense to me. Uncharted is obviously a franchise which it's main idea is to homage old time adventure movies like Indiana Jones and all its clones, so, in that sense, all the cliche characters are a big part of its charm. They are meant to be some sort of trademarked characters of the kind of movies the franchise homage and they SHOULD make it to the next game. They are meant ...
Sorry for the dumb question guys, but what has changed in relation to the health? Whats the issue here or the COD formula of gameplay? I'm only asking 'cuse I've never played any COD (I dislike FPS games) and I'm new to Uncharted 2 online, so I dont have any clue of what are everyone complaing about. :|
My hope is on a new MGS for the ps3.
Great article. Totally agree with it. Funny as Hotz was probably the single person on the entire web who "didn't realized there would be consequences". This guy SHOULD be sued. You know, setted as exemple.
"Should critics complete a game before issuing a review?"
Of course. You should'nt even need to ask.
The game was scary! Hold-your-breath-and-pray-to-n ot-crap-your-paints kind of scary! And that was precisely what make it so good! It felt like an comeback for the true horror genre in videogames. It was everything that Resident Evil fail to be! The most scary atmospheric game I've played since the last fatal frame. And now they will take a step backwards because it was too scary? Its the dumbest move they could do! I truly hope it won't become Resident Evil in the outterspace. Hopefuly they ...
I too don't understand the hate towards FFXII. It is by far my very favorite rpg up to now. Ironically, I didn't enjoyed FFX - which is one of the most praised among fans.
I won't say I'm as excited about this new entry as I was a while ago. The linearly of it and the exclusion of towns feels almost as a deal breaker, but I've been reading a lot about it these days and there are a lot of good things going on as well. Some reviewers are considering it the best story in any FF so far. So...
I see it as being a bad decision. One of the many SE has made with this game. One of the may SE are making since it decided to go "international".
Even though I really loved MGS4, I totally agree with the Dev. Nothing wrong with a good cutscene, but to sacrifice gameplay over it its just wrong! FFXIII had the content of an actual game cuted from its final product, and still, there's room for thirty plus gigas worth of cut scene when there's only seve gigas of gameplay! What's up with that?! oO
It seams like a waste to me. I would rather have a long game to play than a long game to watch. I felt really bad when I first heard this....
Yes, another Darksaltkers would be awesome! And do it in 3d, please.
