I'd be fine with pretty much more of the same!
Oh I very much plan to, when the time is right! :)
I think that with games such as The Last of Us, Metro: Last Light, Bioshock Infinity, Tomb Raider, Ni No Kuni, plus more yet to come (Watch Dogs, GTAV, Xilia, Blacklist, Beyond, Arkham Origins, The Bureau, FFXIV, Diablo3...), 2013 is a must on this list. Such a great year to be a gamer!
As much as I want a sequel, there was no cliffhanger there mate. It ended beautifully.
I loved the beta, but more importantly, my girlfriend loved it even more than I did! I've never spent so much time watching her playing a game before - that's usually her role! lol
I found her focus into that game really cute, so if there was ever doubt (nope), now there is none: I'll have to get this on launch.
Seriously, am I going nuts or is this like the fifth article with the same title going on about the same topic around here? Is it the same article being post over and over again or is it really just general lack in creativity? Enough, guys. You don't want a sequel, I think that's already pretty well established. Some of us do want it, but I think that is established too. How about it if now we could just wait to see what happens and write about something else, huh?
It is a decent score alright, but the review made it sounds worst than it's score. It sounds to me like a pity score just because he really wanted to like it. I'll just wait for xilia for my jrpg fix.
Assassinating targets using stealth, I'd add.
That's good. I always found the modern day segments a snooze fest gameplay wise. I'm not against it at all, I just think modern era story should be cutscenes only.
I've done that too just to see how long I could keep up. Which leads me to another huge complaint about ACIII: infinite enemies. I don't think it was like this on other sin games, or if it was, at least they'd spawn at a much slower rate. The way it is is very anti stealth. Actually the whole game was build against stealth: you kill an enemy silently, another would come right away, all the while every other enemy in the vincinity would magically be aware of your presence. It would...
"Enemies are too weak. They line up for slaughter single-file. There is little reason to sneak around as an assassin when you can simply cleave your way through all your foes. There is no satisfaction in defeating your enemies when your enemies present no challenge. The same challenge that made naval warfare fun in the last game was absent in hand-to-hand combat."
Couldn't agree more. AC games has the boriest combat mechanics in modern gaming - the sole reason w...
Frontline (realm vs realm) sounds epic!
See that huge black dog over there? The one showing it's teeth with a homicidal look on his eyes? You totally should pet him!
Dark Souls - four bitc... kings. Four Kings. Hate that boss.
"I think her character design is cool and I like her personality..."
I also like her design (in XIII only), but huh... what personality?!
It was Tomb Raider for me. That one really cought me by surprise!
Real life Elena Fisher is freaking gorgeous! :)
I don't care (as I don't hate Lightning, just XIII), but I think that the reason Lightning haters are raging is because even if they won't be forced to play the quest, it might result in a LOT of Lightning clones roaming around and as so, they'll be forced to see a character they hate everywhere in a game they want to love. It might be distracting or hurt the imersion for them. Does that makes sense?
I'd consider getting an WiiU as my second console if that was the case.
True that... won't ever forget how they got me with this trailer:

Poor pathetic silly me. lol
Never again.
